**In dreadful conditions that included a gale force wind both teams struggled to produce a decent game of football. In the early stages a good Beechy move created a chance for Max O'Brien who fired the ball straight at the hosts keeper. Then Joe Kelly had a clear run but took a bad touch on the ball and Withington survived again. Within seconds the hosts were on the attack and went 1-0 up and following a free kick Withington added their second goal and led 2-0 at the break.
Storm made a good start in the second half and reduced the arrears when Peter Lever delivered a pinpoint cross for Max O'Brien who headed the ball home. Beechy put added pressure on their opponents via some great attacking play but an equalising goal never arrived and producing another breakaway move Withington got their third goal that earned the hosts the win plus the three points.
Storm's Squad for the game was: Tom Gilbert, Josh Everall, Sam Everall, Harrison Daniels, Joe Melling, Oliver Lawton, Jack Downie, Harry Officer, Max O'Brien, Evan Hodson-Griffiths, Joe Kelly, Jacob Higson, Peter Lever, Aiden Lawton, Harrison Davies, Louis Al Kahlil.
