At Hough End Playing Fields Beechy made a quick start in the game and opened the scoring when Evan Hodson-Griffiths chipped the ball over the keeper. The hosts replied as they kept Storm under pressure and Beechy struggled to play their style of football. Just after half time AWFC equalised when they won a free kick and from the dead ball situation the ball was slotted past the Beechy keeper. Storm had chances to regain the lead but one effort by Ryan hit the post then Louis was denied by the brave AWFC keeper. Following a breakaway attack AWFC went 2-1 up before Ryan was on target again to equalise via a good finish.
On 15/8/2026 Beechy Storm played Salford Storm and just like the previous game took the lead thanks to Sam's superb through pass and an accurate finish by Caleb. Then Evan found room inside the box to make it 2-0 before Salford Storm reduced the arrears. Evan set up new player Joe Kelly and he was on target for 3-1 then Josh positioned at the back post added goal number four from a corner. In the second half Beechy keeper Stuart produced a couple of great saves before Storm took full control again and an easy finish by Joe made it 5-1. Caleb got his fully deserved hat trick as he completed the scoring with goals six and seven. Result Beechy 7 v Salford Storm 1.
