Making a confident start on the Astroturf Pitch Storm carved out a few early chances and Louis Khalil saw one effort just miss the target. Max O'Brien opened the scoring when he put Beechy 1-0 up from the penalty spot then Storm led 2-0 after a goal by Louis Khalil. North Manchester's defence faced some constant pressure as Beechy had a greater share of the ball and shots from Max and Evan Hodson-Griffiths tested the visitors keeper. Alan Kay made it 3-0 via a great goal when he curled the ball into the top corner of the net and just before half time Evan added the fourth goal. After reducing the arrears early in the second half North Manchester were a greater threat going forward and Beechy keeper Stuart O'Brien was forced to make one top-class save. The visitors were rewarded with a second goal but Storm responed in fine style and two good finishes from Evan Hodson-Griffiths edged Beechy 6-2 up. At the end of another swift counter-attack North Manchester got their third goal and with the goal of the game Cole Higson hammered the ball beyond the keeper from about 35 yards to complete the scoring.
