Imad
OG

James
Caleb
Vincent
A repeat of last years final which was a far more tight and dramatic affair which had signs of Munich 99 or Istanbul 05.
Both sides where trading blows with Swinton looking potentially the stronger - passing the ball well while Storm really struggled. Reggie made some good blocks at the back though a lot of over hit passes and poor decisions.
James was busy down the right wing though shooting a couple of times wide of the mark.
Swinton played the better football with Alf called to make a couple of easy saves though it was the indecision in defence which allowed Swinton down the right, squaring with the man on the edge to finish terrifically.
Caleb swapped on and started to make an impact - Imad passed across the box to find Caleb who had the time but smashed against the crossbar.
Henry now entering on the other wing - henners winning a free kick and Reg causing havoc in the box with a well curled cross. Henry then took centre stage on the left and right with mazy runs beating his man more often than not. Henry was the main shot taker with a number from distance well saved by their goalie
Swinton were still very much the better team - Beechy dispossessed on the left let Swinton in and Vincent made a big save to keep the game to just one goal.
Caleb winning the ball on the left responded, cutting into the box and poking across the box though nobody was home!
Some killer blows taken in the first half - James hacking down a Swinton player in the box to provide the opposition with a chance to score which they buried. Shortly after again a cheap free kick conceded that was laced into the top corner with Vincent unable to get close to.
Half time had never come so quick with Storm desperately needing a reset & to perform the great escape - starting again slowly but more controlled defensively shots from Fred rained in from distance.
Both Caleb and Imad hungry to turn the tide - Caleb hitting it from the edge of the box and ricochetting off the post and Imads deflected shot shaving the other shortly after.
However - operation great escape had begun. With Beechy totally dominant now Caleb shifted the ball to Imad on the left who was able to squeeze the ball to the back of the net.
Winning a corner, Imad took from the right and in its chaos bounced off a Swinton defender into the net for an unfortunately OG.
Following a couple of dubious hand balls rejected the ref awarded a penalty for a blatant hand ball which Imad, confident took, slipping on the ground and scuffing it wide.
Henry rotated on and immediately apply pressure on the left with Imad coming close to rectifying following a cross in.
It was now the role of the long ball as Beechy entered the last 10 minutes - Vincent’s monster kicks had been going high and wide though this time found James who tapped the ball over the defender into the path of Imad who fired the ball in causing scenes on the Beechfield bench.
Vincent’s long ball again on target, lofted up, bounced over the defender and it was again Imad, scoring an absolutely astounding 85th and final goal of the season which was possibly one of his best with a hooked right footed volley on the turn.
Defensive totems George and Reggie raced on to hold the game in a Pulisesq move by the coaches and resulted in a brilliant end to the season.

Almost unanimously went to *Mr Henry “Messi” Charles* who thought his MOTM in last years final wasn’t enough. Mazy running beating his man multiple times and showcased his defensive determination on multiple occasions also.
*Coaches Player*
A shout out to Vincent who stopped a couple of dangerous shots and created the final two goals with his big kicks & Fred who had been solid in defence in the second half. However - both Henry and *Imad* have shared the podium a lot this year and they did in this final game. Imad won the game for his team with his goals when Storm wasn’t at their finest. Showed fantastic resilience having looked almost inconsolable after his penalty miss to score a couple of minutes later to equalise and a beautiful hooked volley to win it.
