- U7's Thunder Match Report 10/5/2025
Urmston Meadowside Rebels v Beechfield Thunder Under 7s Salford and Districts Junior League Blue Group
Beechys last league match of the season ended up being a thriller with Beechy winning the game with the last kick of the match, with a great goal from Coaches Player of the Match Freddie Tipton who showed great composure to slot it home and bag Beechy the win. In hot conditions the whole team have showed how far they have come over the course of the season. Beechy got off to a great start with Aldo Gannon netting an early hat trick for the team, showing great touches to finish every goal into the back of the net. Parents Player of the match defender Gideon James went on one of his famous runs down the middle to slot home again with a powerful strike, Ronnie Green showed how valuable he is to the team getting crosses in and went on one of his runs to get a shot off which hit the back of the net. With the weather getting hotter changes were made and Jesse Fletcher was getting tackles won and holding the ball well and was very unlucky not to get a goal. Roman Ashworth again showed his non stop work ethic all match and was also unlucky not to get a goal today. Goalkeeper Raurie Brassington, who picked up the most improved trophy today made some vital saves at the end of the match with his kicking getting stronger, helping to start Beechy attacks, a good all round performance today and a great way to finish the league season, but one game to go in the cup final which these boys deserve to 🏆
Well Done to the whole squad all season.
