I know this is a defeat but it was a really great performance by the boys. This lot had previously given us a trouncing and they started off in the same vein. However, there's a stronger backbone to the side now and we fought back with a belter from Sonny. We put more and more pressure on them and started to control the game. At half time it was 5-1 but 4 of those had gone in in the first few minutes. Uncompromising defence by Harley and Harry especially made it a real struggle for Stretford upfront whilst we started to make more chances. Harley netted his first of the season from the spot and Peter kept a clean sheet in the second half with a wonderful penalty save. Harry got the MoM award, his reading of the game is improving allowing him to use his speed and strength to great effect, but everyone put in a shift.
