We started a double header against title-chasing Ladybridge with a pretty poor performance. There was just no spark and we were only still in the game approaching halftime thanks to an excellent performance from Peter. One down we crucially conceded to pretty much the last kick of the half to give ourselves a mountain to climb.
There was plenty of effort in the second half but we only huffed and puffed and were second best for everything. A masterclass from Milonga at the back, which saw him pip Peter for MoM, kept the score down but we created little, still had the odd howler and were overrun in the middle of the park.
The concerning thing is we play them again next week.
