- Middleton v Thunder
For their first game in nearly four months the Under 16's Thunder were away to Middleton Athletic. Despite playing well especially in the first half of this North Bury Junior League Division 1 fixture Thunder found themselves 1-0 down at half time. Beechy's concentration level dropped briefly in the second half and Middleton took a 3-0 lead but Thunder continued to work hard and they were eventually rewarded. The breakthrough arrived when Prince Idusuyi was on target to reduce the arrears though the celebrations were short lived as Middleton scored again to win the game 4-1. This had been a great all-round effort from the Beechy lads who will obviously be looking to return to winning ways in their next match on Saturday 17th April.
