The football we have been playing this season I’m not surprised by the scoreline 1-10. Littleborough played a decent game for the first 15 minutes but once we scored I knew the goals were going to come. Even when against the run of play when littleborough equalised. I knew it was only a matter of time before we would take control of the game. I was really pleased for all the lads who scored and was hoping a few more could of got on the score sheet too. This takes nothing away from the rest of the team who worked tirelessly though-out to make sure we had a solid base to start our attacks. I’m not going to get carried away as we were playing a team 2 division below us but the confidence the boys showed on Saturday was very pleasing. The referee was very complimentary to me about the boys and picked out numerous players he was impressed with.
