Thunder v Stretford Victoria.

Thunder put in a strong defensive performance against a very physical team. Up front the forward line were rewarded for their pressure on the oppositions defence that ended in an own goal unluckily for Stretford.

Harvey Walkers good vision set prince idusyui free and he calmly slotted it away to put beechy 0-2 ahead.

Beechy created the better chances in the second half but were not able to covert any of them into goals.

Late on in the second half Stretford picked up the tempo, But Beechy stood strong with Jacob Lacey being the star man in midfield breaking down Stretford attack’s. With 10 minutes to go Stretford got a ball through and scored a decent goal.

In the end it was good to see thunder playing with confidence, and not to let panic set in with the score at 1-2.

From a corner MOTM Callum Snaith ripped a shot into the top corner to end any chance of a comeback from Stretford who were trying to get back into the game
