Thunder played Monton Thunder in a div 2 league fixture. Beechy were more organised than of late and defended well for the most part in the first half. Non the less a slight lapse in concentration saw Monton score two goals.
Beechy in the second half, came out more determined and kept Monton from scoring any further goals, while Montons keeper was kept busy as Beechy put the opposition under sustained pressure for most of the second half. Unfortunately this pressure could not be turned into goals, but What impressed me the most today boys was your desire to do the best you can, be it close someone down, make the save or go for a 70/30 ball. If you do that I can't ask for anymore boys, so
keep it up and the results will come.
