Beechy Thunder u11s were away in a friendly game against Ladybridge Pumas.
In this evenly matched contest Beechy put the pressure on and forced a mistake which led to an own goal. Ladybridge hit back not long after to level it up. A good stop by Samuel Oludoyi who was keeper for the first half kept Ladybridge from taking the lead.
A great free kick from distance by Jake osullivan was mishandled by the Ladybridge keeper to take Beechy 2-1 up at HT. Some solid defending by both teams kept it tight and again and it took a well taken free kick to breech the Beechy defence to level the scores again.
Beechy were unlucky not to get a last minute winner as Beechy had more momentum going forward. The game ended all square.
MOTM match was shared between Louie Percival and Dominic Lawton who both kept the spine of the team together with some powerful defending.
