*The Under 16's TORNADOES were at home against Winton Warriors in the 2nd round of the Challenge Cup. During the first forty five minutes Beechy found themselves 1-0 and 2-1 down. But the Tornadoes put on an incredible display in the second half to secure a comfortable 4-2 win. On target for the Tornadoes were Josh Beddows, Abdul Eltomseneen with his first goal for the club and Jayden Hoye who scored twice via a brace of headers.
*Beechfield United U/12's STORM v Moorside Green – Cup Game
Beechfield United produced a sensational cup performance, running out 15–1 winners over Moorside Green. The team was electric from the first whistle, surging to a commanding 9–0 lead by half-time and never looking back.
First Half
Beechfield came out firing, with Ismail Adetona leading the charge. His movement, speed, and lethal finishing saw him rack up the majority of his incredible seven goals before the break. The team dominated possession and piled constant pressure on the Moorside defence, creating chance after chance.
Second Half
The second half saw more of the same ruthless attacking play. Although Moorside managed a consolation goal, Beechfield’s intensity and quality in the final third continued to shine. Birthday boy Jack Sinclair capped his day with a confidently taken goal, sparking big celebrations.
Barkley Pope delivered a standout performance with two goals and tireless play throughout, earning him the Man of the Match award. His work rate, creativity, and leadership were central to Beechfield’s dominance.
Further goals came from Austin Pierce (2), Harry Wharton (1), Den Brooks (1), and Kobe Glass (1), completing an outstanding team display.

*There were several squad players missing when the Under 12's LIGHTNING (9v9) met SKFC Greys for their latest Manchester Youth Super League fixture. Most of Beechy's defenders were absent which meant putting round pegs in square holes. Full credit to all the Beechy Boys who battled to the final whistle but they came up short and lost the game. The Tornadoes biggest positive was when Austin Fillingham scored the teams only goal from within his own half. This superb effort left the SKFC goalkeeper with his head in his hands leaning on the post. The goal also earned Austin the Man of the Match award.
*After a few bad results it was great to see Beechy Under 9's TORNADOES get back to winning ways. Two goals apiece from Arlo, Kayden and Ellis secured a comfortable away win over Moss Lane Rovers. In this Salford and Districts Junior League Yellow Group game there was fantastic improvement from the Beechy Boys who displayed moves worked on in training put into action. Man of the Match Kayden was just too much for the opposition as he played such an unselfish game trying to find his teamates at every opportunity.
*Beechy Under 13's TORNADOES had no official Bolton Bury and District League fixture so a friendly match was arranged with Bolton Wyresdale Juniors. Against their opponents from the North Bury Junior League the Tornadoes made an impressive start and grabbed the lead with a goal by Max Blood. Bolton Wyresdale were rewarded with an equaliser but Beechy responded and Lucio Riva was on target when the Tornadoes regained the lead. The fast flowing action continually switched from end to end as both teams produced some good football on the artifical playing surface. Beechy conceded a second goal and after the break the Tornadoes were forced to do a lot more vital defending and following three more goals it was Bolton Wyresdale who won the game 5-2. Beechy's squad was Harvey Pugh, Hudson Turner, Daniel Badewa, Myles Harris, Archie Charles, Blake Salmon, Max Blood, Lucio Riva, Kian Murphy, Ralph Phillips, Luke Bennett, Thomas Nutsy, George Barlow, Rakeeb Razak, Tyler Ackernley.

On a cold and rainy morning, the Beechfield Boys stepped onto the pitch hungry for another victory. Despite the weather, the team started strong. Samuel opened the scoring with a brilliant individual run from a kick-in, cutting inside and placing the ball calmly into the back of the net.
The lead didn’t last long, though — the opposition quickly found the equalizer. But Beechfield responded with confidence, and soon the familiar William–Kevin connection lit up the match. First, they combined in the opponent’s box for a well-executed finish, and moments later William delivered a superb kick-in that Kevin controlled and smashed home.
The first half closed with the opponents pulling one back, leaving Beechfield ahead at the break.
The second half, however, brought trouble. A series of defensive mistakes opened the door for the opposing team, who capitalized clinically and scored three goals, turning the game around.
Beechfield refused to give up. The final minutes were played almost entirely in the opponent’s half, with wave after wave of attacks. Despite several close chances, only one found the net — a determined play from Kevin, who powered through defenders to score his third of the match.
But time ran out, and the final whistle confirmed a hard-fought defeat.
MOM: This goes today to Jude, he show for some minutes confidence in net and play very good roll in defence and attack during the second half

First Half
The Tornadoes began brightly, with Eric slotting home a well-taken goal to make it 1–0.
Gianluca produced an important save to keep the lead intact, while at the other end the boys created several chances that were only inches away from doubling the advantage.
Zane was immense at the back, calm, strong and completely dominant—while Sergio and Eric worked tirelessly to win the ball and keep us on the front foot.
The Tornadoes went into half time deservedly 1–0 ahead.
Second Half
Urmston hit back early with a goal to level the match, but Noah responded with some brilliantly strong tackles to keep the pressure off.
Theo pulled off a great save before a penalty was awarded to Urmston, which they converted to make it 1–2.
Gianluca then added another solid save to keep the Tornadoes in it, and Rocco stood out with some good defensive moments.
A late Urmston goal made it 1–3 despite the team’s continued effort.
The Tornadoes showed good passing, awareness and determination throughout, going toe-to-toe with a team that has a full year more experience together.
The boys’ attitude, teamwork and willingness to compete were clear to see, and with continued training and focus, the improvements will keep coming each week.

Moorside Rangers Blue 8 versus Beechfield THUNDER 6
Another end to end game from Thunder today who were very unlucky to lose this one. On a heavy, muddy pitch Thunder showed again that passing the ball and the ball movement is the key to their playing style and again the work ethic from the boys was non stop. Captain Roman Ashworth got the first goal for Thunder showing good footwork to drill the ball in at pace, shortly after Aldo Gannon got his first of the match making his trademark runs into the box and finishing off, giving the keeper no chance to save hitting the ball low. Player of the Match Ronnie Green, who was involved in every attack for Thunder got his goal showing great composure on the ball all game and slotting in with a powerful strike. Roman got his second goal of the game with a finish worthy to be in the top three so far this season, Parents Player of the Match Freddie Tipton again showed just how valuable he is in front of goal with some quick passing out wide and hitting the ball low to beat the keeper and get Thunders fifth of the game. Second half Moorside got level making it 5-5 but this didn't stop Thunder sticking to what they did so well all of the match, passing movement and Aldo Gannon got his second of the game, again being in the right place at the right time which got him the Most Improved Player today making runs all game. With time running out Thunder did their best to hold on but two goals in the final two minutes saw Moorside take the win. Overall a great performance from the boys in a tough league group and are getting closer each week to winning these games.

Flixton Raptors U8 2–5 Beechfield STORM U8
Beechfield Storm U8 put in a fantastic all-round team performance to secure a confident 5–2 victory over Flixton Raptors in an exciting, end-to-end match. With both teams unbeaten, someone’s ‘0’ had to go!
Storm made the perfect start when Jett opened the scoring, finishing off a sharp attacking move to put Beechy 1–0 ahead. Flixton responded well, growing into the game and netting twice in quick succession to take a 2–1 lead.
Rather than letting their heads drop, Storm showed brilliant resilience. Reni pulled the team level with a well-taken long range goal, before Ollie struck to swing the momentum firmly back in Beechfield’s favour at 3–2. The pair continued to cause problems for the Flixton defence, with Reni adding another top bins. Ollie then stepped back up to smash the ball off the post. Then after another quick fire counter attack Ollie stepped up again grabbing his second of the match.
Louie had some great opportunities in front of goal today hitting the post and causing carnage to Flixton back line with his dazzling feet and heavy pressing.
Daley kept the opposition at bay, by coming off his line forcing Flixton to kick the ball wide in many of occasions.
Jaxx was holding the fort at the back with his control and commands to his team mates, also putting his body on the line to keep the raptors out.
Every player played their part in a strong team showing.

Beechfield LIGHTNING 1 v Beechfield STORM - 1
On a cold, wet morning that felt more like a scene from a dramatic football movie, Beechfield Lightning and Beechfield Storm lit up the pitch with a derby day showdown packed with energy, excitement and edge-of-your-seat moments.
From the very first kick, the game burst into life. Both teams went charging forward at every opportunity, forcing the goalkeepers into spectacular saves that had the sidelines roaring. Lightning even had the woodwork to thank at one point as it rattled but refused to give Storm the lead. It was fast, it was frantic, and it was fantastic — and somehow, despite all the action, halftime arrived with the score still at 0–0.
The second half sparked alive almost instantly. With both sides hunting for that crucial opening goal, Lightning finally struck. Billy burst down the wing with real purpose, whipped in a brilliant pass, and Ralph finished it off with style — a classy, composed finish that sent Lightning into celebration.
At the back, Angelo, Bodie and Elliot stayed switched on through every attack, forming a strong defensive wall. Finley, Brayden, Billy and Ronnie worked tirelessly up and down the pitch, launching attacks one moment and racing back to help defend the next.
Storm responded like a true derby rival, finding an equaliser and turning up the pressure late on. But Bobby was in heroic form, pulling off outstanding saves that kept Lightning firmly in the contest. In the end, after a fierce, full-throttle battle in tough, muddy conditions, the teams shook hands on a well-deserved 1–1 draw — a game that had absolutely everything.
Lightning Man of the Match – Brayden
Brayden was everywhere. He covered every blade of grass, broke down attacks, drove Lightning forward, and played with heart, hunger and pure determination. A standout performance worthy of the derby stage. ⚡
*St John's (Chorlton) U12 5-0 v Beechfield Utd U12 TORNADOES
Today's game against the league leaders was switched to Beech Farm due to a pitch clash. A couple of late dropouts and an ongoing injury to our regular keeper meant we started with a bare 9, making an already tricky assignment much tougher.
The first 10 minutes were close, St John's threatened more but we looked dangerous on the counter. St John's took the lead after they were given a fortunate free kick, which crashed against our bar and fell kindly to their striker for a tap in. Shortly after they made it 2, when a cross found their players unmarked who slotted home. For once we refused to give up however. Josh Green had 2 chances of his own making, the best of which he showed good strength to get past 3 players before shooting just over. St John's were on top but some excellent stops by stand in keeper Grayson Evans kept the score at 2. Agonisingly we conceded a 3rd with the last kick of the half. Half time 3-0.
The 2nd half we didnt give up but St John's were a strong side and created numerous chances. A 4th came shortly after the break, before they blazed a penalty over the bar. We struggled to create anything of note in the 2nd half as we concentrated on keeping the score down. St John's got a 5th near the end, full time 5-0.
Despite the defeat this was a much improved performance from our last match. Alex McGrory was everywhere, winning countless tackles. Dawood Fakeeh was at his industrious best today making life difficult for the opposition. Ty Dobson, unable to play in goal due to injury put a good shift in as part of the defence. 2nd half stand in keeper Reuben McCormick prevented the scoreline from being higher. But Player of the Match went to first half stand in keeper Grayson Evans who was alert, quick off his line and did many excellent stops to keep us in the game in the first half.
We've had a tough run of games lately, but we have some more favourable games on the horizon as we search for a long overdue victory.
