In a game dominated by the home side Thunder got back to winning ways with a deserved victory. With a good solid performance the home side took the lead with leading goal scorer Ronnie Green grabbing the first goal which instantly galvanised the side to playing some great football, Zac Vaughan showed some great footwork and passing with a great performance to put Ronnie through for his second goal of the game and shortly after Zac got the third goal with a superb finish. The away side managed to get a goal back just before half time but the second half was dominated by Thunder, starting at the back with Raurie Brassington, Gideon James and George Lawson very strong defensively and Urmston did find it hard to break through, Jesse Fletcher played some good passes to his teammates and also tracked every player he was marking throughout the game, Aldo Gannon stepped up with Beechfield's fourth goal of the match and was causing problems all game on the right hand side with Ronnie, in fine goal scoring form grabbed the last two goals of the match with some quality finishing with his right boot, Urmston did pull a consolation goal back at the final whistle but overall Beechfield's dominance and a great team performance was the difference between both sides, special mentions to Zac Vaughan Player of the Match, Jesse Fletcher Parents Player of the Match and Gideon James Most Improved.
