*In the Manchester Youth Super League Beechy Under 12's LIGHTNING (9v9) were involved in another super close game. In this Division 2 fixture with Chadderton Eagles there were some fantastic saves from Lightning keeper James Hardman. At the other end of the pitch both Henry Dunn and Kayson Gregg combined well to get Beechy their only goal. Lightning are currently on the wrong end of the results but if they keep playing like they did against Chadderton Eagles the Beechy Boys will start winning games. Man of the Match was Junior Davies who was solid and reliable in his left back position. Result Chadderton 4 v Beechy Lightning 1.

First Half
The Tornadoes started brilliantly, showing real strength and organisation in defence. The passing was sharp, with Harry standing out early as he drove the team forward and scored two superb goals to put Beechfield 2–0 up. Noah’s pace and confidence were clear throughout the half, helping to control of the game as the boys took a deserved lead into the break.
Second Half
The momentum flipped after the restart as Urmston Albion came out much stronger, taking control and applying nonstop pressure. The Tornadoes struggled to keep their rhythm, and as heads dipped, the goals began to flow for the opposition. Despite the tough half, Sergio continued to work tirelessly and created a couple of good chances that were unlucky not to find the net, while Eric remained solid and composed throughout the full game. Rocco also pulled off a notable save during a difficult spell.

A tough day for the boys, but their first-half performance showed what they’re capable of. We stay positive, keep encouraging their effort and teamwork and look forward to seeing them grow as they take on new challenges in training and future matches.

Storm brushed off the cobwebs and delivered a solid performance against Salford Storm on St Ambrose’s Astro.
Vincent in net with regular partners in crime at the back in Reggie and Josh with James, Nathan in midfield, Jacob in attacking midfield with Alfie up top.
Storm looked to assume control with Jacob taking control of the ball playing out to Nathan on the right - his cross narrowly missing Alfie at the back post who’s attempted volley was just off target.
Storm continued to steam crosses in & James fizzed one across and again Alfie couldn’t connect. The breakthrough came from a corner as Reggie took, swung it in with a beautiful curled cross finding Alfie at the back stick who slotted in from close range.
Salford sat back frustrating Storm & with changes rung in making impacts - Imad & Arman started to dazzle with some mazy runs up top though Jose coming on in midfield showed his predatory instincts; receiving the ball from Josh who hunted down an attacker, sliding him through - one touch and shot from distance bouncing off the post.
A sign of things to come as Storm broke on after a corner, Reggie played through to Arman, running at the defenders and sliding Jose through who took the ball out wide and hit a fierce shot across the goal keeper.
Other chances came with Nathan, Imad and Arman all having shots well saved by the goal keeper.
Second half began with Storm looking more assured, a kick in from Imad was touched on by Alf to Nathan with all the time in the world but hit the ball against the post.
Imad starting to stretch the game in a free role in attacking midfield broke on the left, crossed in to James who slammed the ball into the back of the net. Another wasn’t too far away with a corner swung in by Imad found Josh on the edge of the box, played it through to Nathan who made no mistake this time.
Imad determined to get on the scoresheet notched another for storm - winning the ball up field with a high press and lacing the ball into the back of the net.
Following changes at the back Storm conceded twice in quick succession though in between some fantastic saves from
Vincent with one highlight being an acrobatic save to the right - gaining some composure James now manning the defence took the ball at the back, played through to Nathan who’s shot stung the palms of the goalkeeper however Arman raced in finishing powerfully to complete the win for Storm!

Some votes across the team for Vincent for some mega saves in the second half & Reggie who notched an assist and was faultless throughout with his defence & passing though MOTM went to *Josh* - going from strength to strength having joined this year - rolls royce at the back & mopped up when needed. Kept it simple and held a clean sheet while he and Reggie were on the field.

*Arman* - slow to get into the game at the start though when warned into it he was unplayable - constant threat running at defences got an assist & well struck goal.
*Beechfield United U/17's HURRICANES 2 v Deans Youth 1
The Under 17's HURRICANES were at home on the 4G Pitch at Salford Sports Village against Deans Youth Orange. Both Lucca and Jamie were unavailable but Rafa returned and Abdul was in line to make his debut. A minutes silence was observed before kick-off in memory of Harley Andrews a player from Astley & Tyldesley FC who tragically passed away last week. After a fairly even start to this Division 1 game the Hurricanes took the lead. A brilliant ball over the Deans defence from Owen Hogben was controlled by Alfie Rostron who rounded the visitors keeper before adding an easy finish. Despite Deans having a greater share of the ball Beechy created the better chances during an action packed first forty five minutes. A similar pattern of play developed in the second half and Deans equalised via a bullet header following a free kick. The action drifted rapidly from end to end and Abdul crowned his dream debut with the Hurricanes winning goal. Winning possession on the left flank Abdul easily went past a Deans defender and superbly floated the ball over the keeper from 25yards. "What a way to announce your Arrival". Two excellent goals were enough to secure Beechy their second successive Bolton Bury and Distict League victory. Man of the Match was central defender Harrison Davies. *Beechfield Utd U/18's HURRICANES 8 v FC Bridgewater 2
Switching their Bolton Bury and District League Chairmans Cup Group Stage home game with FC Bridgewater to St Ambrose Barlow School proved to be the winning formula for the Under 18's HURRICANES. On the 4G Astroturf Pitch Beechy produced a stylish all-round performance and were rewarded with a stunning 8-2 victory. Goalscorers for the Hurricanes were Karo Ibodje (hat-trick) Enoch Olague (hat-trick) Nahom Berhane and Paul Connelly. Beechy's next group stage game is away to Unsworth Juniors on 29/11/2025.
