Thunders unbeaten run continued with a home win against Swinton Tigers. Straight from the kick off Thunder dominated in attack and showed again how confident they are going forward. Parents Player of the Match Aldo Gannon opened the scoring with the first two goals of the match, with two identical finishes and again being in the right place to finish off in front of goal, the third goal of the game came from Ronnie Green showing again how good he his in front of goal with a superb strike. Roman Ashworth got Thunder's fourth goal of the game after being brought down in the box with a penalty awarded, yet again showing composure in front of goal and drilling it in to the bottom left. With Thunder dominating, even when they conceded a couple of goals the whole team, in particular George Lawson, Jesse Fletcher and Raurie Brassington contributing in defence and attack and keeping Swinton at bay and showing how valuable they are to the team. Most Improved Player Freddie Tipton got Thunder's fifth of the match again creating space in the box and finishing off with a superb strike. Player of the Match Gideon James with another dominating performance in attack and defence got Thunders final goal of the game after going on one off his surging runs forward to finish coolly into the bottom right corner, again another dominating performance from Thunder with one League fixture left and hoping to finish the league season on a high.
