Tense game which was tighter than the scoreline suggested as Beechy Storm enter the final stages of the league with yet another victory.
Beechy started the brighter making a couple of chances which were well saved, James, Henry and Fred letting fly on a couple of occasions. Chances swung to Winton with some long balls catching George and Fred out at the back though Alfie was on hand to scoop up any danger.
The deadlock was broken by Storms top marksman in Imad who took the ball on, dribbled past one and slid it into the back of the net - mobbed after by George and Fred in celebration. Imad close to a second producing a magical run, a megs with the brilliant keeper of Winton making a crucial save.
Fred making a couple of brilliant runs down the left was looking for James & Imad in the middle but Wintons defence impressively stood firm.
Shots rained down onto Winton with James, Henry and Imad all having chances but the keeper looking well on form nothing was going in. Many danger signs from Winton with some brilliant crosses and corners coming close though Vince looked just as solid to hold a clean sheet.
Second half started & Beechy really showing rust and not passing the ball as well was taking a lot of chances through individual efforts - James again coming close. However on the defensive side - following a scramble in the box and goalkeeper Alfie down injured an open goal shot was saved heroically by James who put his body on the line to keep the clean sheet intact.
Winton continued to push and started to look the better - shots coming high and wide but it was a break where Winton went on goal from the left - shot fired which looked destined for the back of the net but Vincent produced a miraculous diving save.
Towards the end of the game Storm now starting to take it back to basics put it beyond doubt. George won the ball high up the pitch, laid off for Henry to power a left footed finish past the goal keeper.
Good movement from a kick in by Imad created space for James, Fred found him with a beautiful ball which James curled first time though the keeper tipped it on to the post.
Fred again now starting to conduct played the ball down the right to Henry who cut on his left, laid off to James who this time made no mistake.
Storm getting the job done today!

*Vincent* - brilliant throughout, distribution spot on, making a couple of fantastic saves. Sharp to come on with his compatriot injured and made the save of the game.
Coaches MOTM:
*James* - second week running, absolutely on form in attack, defence and also saving a certain goal with a determined block on the goal line.
