Jekyll and Hyde performance from Storm who took a while to warm up though came through with a fantastic 2nd half performance.
Alfie started in net, with Reggie who took the captaincy alongside George, Fred and Henry on the wing.
First half the team really struggled to get any type of pass and move going, regularly getting stuck in the middle with little movement. Chances did come from the ever creative Henry who drifted past players on the left and trying to find Fred.
Fred again switching and marauding down the right flashed the ball in evading George who had stormed forward.
Imad joining the field applied some oompah where he and Henry immediately combined on the left, feeding Imad who smacked a ball against the cross bar.
Vincent in goal was brought into action with a smart save and scrambled away from Reggie and George. Further impetus was added as Caleb entered though again Beechy struggled - luckily some resolute defending limited the opposition to scraps from George, Fred and Reggie.
The game was poised goalless for the first time this season on the half needed far better play. Henry, Imad and Fred particularly vocal at half time immediately combined on the pitch to resulted in another smart stop from the oppositions goal keeper
Other chances came - Imad on the left shifting to Henry, Henry on to Fred who somehow couldn’t get a clean strike as well as Imad testing the woodwork again with a shot from outside the box clipping the post.
Seemingly the ball did not want to go in. This time Imad fed henry who played in to Fred who clipped against the post. Reg was excellent throughout picking the ball up and enabling his team mates meaning there was limited chances.
A quick change saw Caleb take the field - feeding Imad on the left a cross bobbled in, found him and he took Storm ahead from close range. Shortly after Reggie played Imad through on the left who provided yet another sublime cross with Caleb unmarked again and finishing first tim.
Oozing confidence now following a defensive block Caleb picked up the ball, drove at the defence and slid through Imad who laced it into the back of the net.
Final stages Henry took centre stage for more reasons than one - creatively picked the ball and set George who flashed wide. On the resulting break both George out of position and Reggie wasn’t able to cover took Henry to bust a gut and make a last stitch challenge with Vincent clearing.
Inverting the wingers Henry brought the ball inside and played through Caleb who picked up, took a save from the goalie but on the resulting shot squeezed it in for his hat- trick.
MOTM:
A chorus and unanimous vote went to Caleb - hat-trick and an assist, immediately in the second half changed the game with his quality & excellent decision making.
