Beechfield Storm edged a thrilling contest against Moorside Blue in a game where both teams showed incredible determination and skill.
From the first whistle, it was clear that this would be a closely fought battle, with both sides creating plenty of chances.
The first half was end-to-end, with Harry making an early save before Moorside took the lead. Archie and Reni both found the net for Storm but Moorside stayed in the game, and the teams went into the break level.
The second half saw more drama, with Theo scoring after a great assist from Noah before Moorside hit back with two quick goals.
Storm equalized through an unfortunate own goal, and Harry made another key save to keep them in it.
Reni then put Storm ahead with a goal set up by Jett, but Moorside responded once again. In the final moments, Reni grabbed the winner after another assist from Jett.
Louie showed great determination, battling hard in midfield and Ollie and Jaxx put in strong defensive shifts, helping the storm boys secure a well-earned victory in a fantastic game.
