**In their Bolton Bury and District League Green Division game with Astley and Buckshaw Beechy Under 11's STORM (9v9) scored some great goals. Acccoring to Storm's boss Ryan Pugh a couple of injuries forcing a team reshuffle didn't help as too many defensive errors gifted Astley and Buckshaw their goals. Ryan added he thought Bobby Lowe was outstanding with three fantastic goals and the team were much better in the second half. Goalkeeper Dexter Shenton did well and George Savage was fantastic up front linking-up with Oscar Pugh in some great moves while Henry Richardson also linked-up well with the forwards. Overall there were plenty of positives to take from the game. Man of the Match Bobby (hat-trick) George and Oscar were on target with the goals for Storm.
**BEECHFIELD TORNADOES U8s v Urmston Meadowside U8's.......
Back at Beechfield....pitch very heavy but playable....
Chances for both sides early....Franklin making his debut in goal for Beechfield made a couple of good saves ...Eric put Beechfield one-up a strike from outside the box...Purple patch for Urmston goal ,goal, goal..1-3 down ...Just before half time Theo won the ball on the half way line and lost it won it back and scored a great goal to reduce the arrears...

Second half playing towards the Clubhouse we go 4-3 up both goals credited to Eric the second and his third knocked in by the defender trying to stop the ball ...Hat Trick for Eric 4-3 to Beechy ......Urmston come back and equalise then go ahead 4-5...Urmston Meadowside......Hang on...We are Beechy and I the closing minutes Sergio puts Eric through to equalise ...

**Deans Youth & Ladies U12 3-4 BEECHFIELD UTD U12 TORNADOES
After our first win of the season last time out the Tornadoes went into this game in confident mood and were boosted further by new signing Jack Sinclair, making his Tornadoes debut.
Tornadoes started brightly and Jack Sinclair almost had a dream start when a sweetly struck free kick from all of 25 yards crashed against Deans crossbar. Deans then had a chance to take the lead on the breakaway but shot wide.
We were playing some good football and deservedly took the lead shortly after when Dawood Fakeeh took advantage of some hesitation in the Deans defence to find Mason Stockton who slotted home for his first goal of the season. Mason had another chance shortly after but just overran the ball and the Deans keeper came to the rescue. Some good link up play between Josh Green and Dawood Fakeeh saw Dawood Chip the Deans goalkeeper for what we thought was a 2nd goal but it was disallowed for offside. We were playing really well and were a constant threat from some superb long through balls, long throws and set pieces, with Jack at the heart of everything.
Deans then started to come into the game and equalised with a close range finish. Deans were now on top and keeper Ty Dobson did a great save clawing the ball back off the line to keep the scores level. Ty and defenders Aidan Thompson, Reuben McCormick and Jack Sinclair kept Deans at bay until just before half time when they had a 25 yard free kick of their own superbly struck into the top corner, keeper Ty had no chance. At half time we were somewhat unfortunate to be 2-1 down.
After coming from behind at half time to win in our last game we knew we could do it again with the right attitude, and we were shooting downhill in the 2nd half which was to our advantage. We started the half really well yet again and soon equalised when the magnificent Jack Sinclair played in Josh Green through the middle who finished with precision to make it 2-2. We were well on top at this point and controlling the game in the midfield, Jayden Lowe, Harry Myddelton, Dawood Fakeeh, Alex McGrory and Aidan who we pushed slightly further forward were all winning the midfield battle.
We deservedly took the lead when Jack struck a free kick from the left which beat the Deans keeper and defender who was unable to hack it off the line, a well deserved debut goal for Jack who was at the heart of everything.
At 3-2 down Deans started to attack and they made it 3-3 with another superb finish into the top corner.
With 15 minutes left we made some tactical switches and looked the more likely side to get the winner but Deans were a threat on the break and Ty Dobson again saved superbly, he did not know the Deans striker was offside so it wouldn't have counted in any case.
I had a funny feeling we would get a winner, but 5 minutes before the end was a bizzare moment you'd only see in grass roots football. Jack's sole of his boot was damaged in a tackle and was flapping about. He came over and asked me to rip it off so he could play the last 5 minutes, albeit without studs or a full sole! This was the right thing to do, as with virtually the last kick of the game Beechy forced a corner on the left, which was superbly taken by the studless Jack right on to the head of Josh Green who capped another great personal performance with a header into the roof of the net! The players, parents and coach were all ecstatic, Beechy had won a classic 4-3 at the death!
This was a superb game of football played in the right spirit by both teams, and credit to the Deans for their part. But just like busses, having waited so long for a win we now get 2 in a row and the Tornadoes momentum is growing! Tremendous!
For the 2nd game running I could have given MOTM to anyone as all 10 players out there today were fantastic. But the one player who clearly stood out today on debut was Jack Sinclair. He was at the heart of everything - 2 assists, one goal, one crossbar hit, one studless boot! What more can I say. Jack made a real difference to our team today and will be a real asset for us for the rest of the season.
Yet again it was a delight to see the whole team fight for each other, you could tell they really wanted the win today and are now starting to believe that we can actually compete at this level after all and are beginning to march up the league table. Roll on next game, go Beechy! ⚽️👕
**BEECHFIELD UTD STORM U/12's 1–4 Moorside Reds
Beechfield United Storm produced a spirited and committed performance but were ultimately undone by late goals as Moorside Reds ran out 4–1 winners.
The first half was a tight, competitive affair with both sides well matched. Beechfield battled hard, showed good organisation, and were very much in the contest, but it was Moorside who edged ahead just before the break to take a 1–0 lead into half time.
The Storm came out flying after the restart and were rewarded almost immediately when Ismail Adetona unleashed an absolute worldie just after half time to level the scores. It was a stunning strike and gave Beechfield real momentum. Moments later, the game could have swung completely Beechfield’s way — Adetona rattled the post a chance that would have given Storm a deserved lead.
Those missed opportunities proved costly. Despite Beechfield continuing to press, compete and look dangerous, Moorside showed their clinical edge, capitalising late on as the Storm pushed forward. Two late goals sealed the victory for the Reds and stretched the scoreline beyond what the performance truly deserved.
Despite the result, this was a huge team effort from Beechfield United Storm. Every player contributed, fought for each other, and stayed in the game right until the end. On another day, with a bit more luck in front of goal, the outcome could easily have been different.
Man of the Match went to Barkley Pope, whose all-round performance stood out — fantastic play, tireless effort, solid defending, and excellent wing play throughout.
A tough result to take, but plenty of positives to build on. This was a performance full of heart, quality, and belief — and one that shows Beechfield United Storm are never far away. 💪⚽

A tight encounter in the first game in the league between two of Bechfield's finest though Storm on form since the start of the year was excellent today.
Vincent between the posts, Reggie and Josh at the back, Nathan and Jacob building on a promising partnership in the midfield with Jose and Arman starting on the wings.
Storm played with confidence and showed composure on the ball zipping the ball about the pitch. Lightning trying to get the ball down though storm on the front foot saw Josh move forward and win the ball on the half way, flicked through to Arman who coming off the left jinked past 3 and powerfully struck past Bobby in net.
Lightning did respond with a couple of pot shots, easily dealt by Vince in goal though with one mix up had to revert to an unconventional punch to keep it deadlocked.
The introduction of the explosive Imad had a big impact - Jacob who had been pulling the strings in the midfield took the ball with his back to goal from Reggie, played through Imad who buried it.
Lightning undeterred pushed forward and Brayden stuck agonisingly wild. Storm straight from Vince played to Josh who converted defence to attack played it down the line releasing Imad who had a fantastic touch around the defender to go 1v1 which made sure placing past the goalie.
Further chances as Imad turning scorer to provider swung a number of balls in with Jacob, Arman & Jose unlucky not to finish some of them. Imad did take the ball on the right moved inside and played the ball to feet by Jacob who raced through and took a brilliant save from Bobby to stop the goal. In the thick of it Imad struck where it hit the inside of both posts & Nathan had a go with a “hand of Nathan” goal which was picked by the ref and rightly ruled out.
Up until this point any attack was snuffed out by Reggie and Josh who were brilliant - however Lightning got one back with storms midfield pushed forward, playing the ball well between Ronnie, Brayden who then laid off to fin who hit a sublime strike into the bottom right.
Storm started with a bang and it was Imad who took the game on - Vincent with a huge kick, Imad picking up and slamming the ball into the top corner. Shortly after Jacob had again picked up the ball, shuffled it out to Imad who right footed powered past Bobby.
Storm started to really purr now and it was Nathan who’s tricky feet on the right and showed the team player he is to place it across to Jacob who made sure with finish inside the box
Nathan again on the same side tried replicating which, as he slid the ball both Josh and Ralph competed and Josh came out with the goal.
Continuing to create Nathan played through Josh who powered down the middle of lightning and flashed wide.
Jacob returned the favour - having had the ball played upfield took the ball, fed Nathan who went through and made sure to add his name to the list.
Lightning did not give up though- a fantastic long ball wrong footed George at the back as Brayden powered through to score. Some further excellent play by Brayden saw him take the ball on the right and play through to Fin to score a 2nd.
Storm did gain composure - Nathan, Imad, George and Jacob all making important blocks & Jose hanging to the last defender made his way through, took it round the keeper but couldn’t get the ball back in.
Gaining praise from the Manchester City representative at the end of the game who gave a debrief to the team - Storm played excellently with some really positive football played.

*Jacob* - heartbeat of the team today, got a goal, couple of assists, solid when defending as well as building a fantastic partnership with Nathan in the mid and continued to show progression throughout this year.
Despite this all the team was excellent; Vincent made some excellent saves, got an assist with his distribution, Josh / Reggie in the first half were excellent as Josh picked up 2 assists in the first half, starting attacks at the back & agonisingly close to goal with George in the final 10 snuffed out attack's, Nathan & Imad continued to show how good they are with assists, goals and a lot of shavings taken from the crossbar, posts & Jose / Arman were consistently making the right decisions on whether to pass or progress with the ball causing lightning problems wherever they popped up.

A great contest from start to finish, Tornadoes started strong with 2 brilliant individual goals from Ellis in central midfield. There was a fight back from Deans 2nd half that brought the score back even. However final the scoreline didn’t reflect the game with multiple chances created and Tornadoes breaking the defense down time and time again! Man of the Match performances from Leo for defensive reliability for 50 mins & for Oscar for being available in space for his teammates for the duration!
We meet Deans Tigers again for a friendly on Tuesday!

BEECHFIELD UTD THUNDER 7 v Salford Storm Thunder 2
Another 3 points for Beechfield today in a game which is quite clear to see the confidence in the whole team and work ethic is at its peak in terms of play the passing and movement and communication between the whole squad is a joy to watch, goals from Gideon James three who's strong runs into the box causing problems all game Aldo Gannon two Ronnie Green one Parker Haworth one with a goal on the half way line struck with power and accuracy the whole team set the tone off how Thunder wanted to play on a dry fast pitch and credit to each player everybody did there jobs, Captain Raurie Brassington who again was safe as houses in Goal Roman Ashworth at the back spreading his passes into the oppositions half perfectly and strong in defence special mentions to Freddie Tipton Jesse Fletcher and George Lawson who have certainly been vital to the squad the last few weeks with there efforts in defence and attack, and last but not least our Player of the Matches Ronnie Green who's passing and crosses and finding the back of the net today and overall play was first class and Aldo Gannon regardless who the opposition is always finds the back of the net and link up play was fantastic, another solid performance from Thunder with all the boys looking forward to there next match.

The game kicked off on a morning with excellent weather conditions, perfect for football. What followed was a match of two very contrasting halves, starting with a dominant opening period from Beechfield United.
From the first whistle, the Beechy Boys played with high intensity and controlled the game. The opening goal came after a well-weighted pass from Samuel to Caspian, who showed great composure to control the ball and finish confidently for the first of the match.
Moments later, Samuel added the second after a brilliant assist from our star Alvin. Samuel wasn’t done — two excellent individual efforts followed, both converted with confidence, pushing the score to 4–0.
Before the break, Salford Storm managed to pull one back, but Beechfield responded immediately. Jude opened his account with two well-taken goals, both created by quality passes from William and Alvin, sending the teams into half-time with a commanding 6–1 lead.
The second half told a different story. A few changes disrupted the rhythm slightly, and Salford Storm added an extra player, which helped them close the gap with two goals — one coming from the penalty spot.
Jude struck again to make it 7, followed by another individual goal from Samuel for the 8th. The game became more evenly balanced, with chances at both ends. William, covering the goal for the final ten minutes, put on an outstanding display with several crucial saves.
Caspian came close on multiple occasions but couldn’t quite convert, while Alvin worked tirelessly, constantly creating danger and searching for his goal, though luck wasn’t on his side.
Salford Storm scored twice more late on, but the final word belonged to Samuel, who sealed the match with his fifth goal in the closing minutes, confirming a 9–5 victory.
