Parkwyddn Juniors 0 v BEECHFIELD UTD THUNDER 4
**Another commanding performance from Thunder in a game totally controlled by the away side a hat-trick from Player of the Match Ronnie Green who was a constant threat in attack showing what he is capable of doing and showing his desire to take players on aswell and his pinpoint passing in to the oppositions half. Our fourth goal was scored by Managers Player of the Match Freddie Tipton who again gave a workman like performance taking his chance in front of goal really well and never gives up in possession and defence, a strong team performance from Thunder who dominated all game passing movement energy levels and the desire to get to the ball first everytime contributed to Thunder keeping there first ever clean sheet in a match. Thunder had plenty of chances to score more goals but the home team keeper kept the score down with some great saves, another three points for the boys fully deserved.

**BEECHFIELD TORNADOES U8s v Mersey Valley Tigers

Score: Beechfield Tornadoes 5–2 Mersey Valley Tigers

First Half
Tornadoes started well and took an early lead when Sergio played Theo through to score. The team defended strongly with good clearances from Sergio, Franklin and Noah, while Rocco, Sergio, Zane and Eric all tested the goalkeeper.
Eric then set up Noah to make it 2–0.
Theo went close several times before adding two goals, including a well-taken free kick. Mersey Valley scored once, but Tornadoes went into half time leading 4–1.
Second Half
The second half was more settled, with Theo making several good pickups and saves in goal. Gianluca and Sergio both had chances, and Zane defended well under pressure. Mersey scored again to make it 4–2, but Tornadoes finished strongly when Eric assisted Noah for his second goal to seal a 5–2 win.
Team Performance
A positive team display with great effort, linking play and attitude throughout. Defending as a unit and moving the ball forward well were real strengths, with plenty more progress to come through training.

Starting line up , Vince in goal, Alfie and Josh at the back , Jacob and Nathan in midfield with James and Arman on the wings .
Game started abit of a battle on a tough pitch with long grass ..there were a few early chances James through pass to Nathan who fired wide , the roles were then reversed as Nathan long pass to James who's shot was saved. Alfie and josh keeping it solid at the back.
The breakthrough came after 10 minutes from a Parkwyddn corner and rapid beechy breakaway, Josh commanded the box and played the ball up to James who was spare on the half way line , James held the ball up played back to Jacob who then saw James spin the defender and run in behind, Jacob then played the perfect through ball to set James free who finished across the keeper for 1-0 finishing a deadly breakaway goal.
George enteres the fray in defence and made a series of good tackles and blocks . Arman had a series of runs down the right and was always very dangerous on the wing . However the second came from a Nathan corner , flicked on by James to Jose, who was now manning the left wing, firing into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
The third came shortly after with Natahan now feeding James who finished well just inside the box for 3-0.
Vince playing midfield now, made a series of good tackles and a few nice through balls that weren't finished.
Second half was much the same, non stop pressure from Beechy kept the Parkwyddn keeper very busy. The 4th eventually came after another mazy run from arman ,on the left this time, beating a series of defenders driving the ball into the box feeding Josh who finished clinically.
Chances then came for James, Jacob and Jose but a combination of good goalkeeping and wasteful finishing kept the score down.
Vince in net for the second half had little to do with george marshaling the defence dutifully. The 5th did eventually come from a Jose corner, swung into a dangerous area for Nathan to touch control and fire into the net at the near post for 5-0.
More chances came but the Parkwyddn goalkeeper was on good form and kept the score respectable ending 5-0 to the storm and a clean sheet.
Parents Player of the Match-
Parent shout outs for James and Jacob, but winner was Josh who played defence and mid today , great display in defence some brilliant forward balls and got his goal when moving into midfield.
Managers Player of the Match-
A toss up between everyone as there wasn't a bad performance out there, a mention to James who got a few goals and played every position today in an all action display ... but the winner is Arman , who was a constant threat, unplayable in the first half on the right 👏.

High energy performance for the ever improving Tornadoes U9's. 2026 has started well, 3 wins and a draw out performing 2025 already.
Every lad was worthy of taking home the MOTM trophy today. Application, tactical awareness and added composure won the day in a match that could have been double digits but for a great goalkeeping performance, a penalty crushing the bar and a disallowed goal (do we have budget for goalie technology?). I jest.
Super proud of the lads, always, and they should be proud of themselves as the hard work is paying off.
Excellent all round team performance.
**Hindley Town 3 v BEECHFIELD UTD U/11's STORM 2
Beechy U/11's Storm had only eight players available for their Green Division 9v9 fixture with Hindley Town but the Beechy Boys did themselves and the club proud. Despite Storm having a few chances in both halves the players never gave up as they worked their socks off. With a full team available and on another day plus players playing in their right positions Storm would have won the game. The referee made some awful decisions allowing Hindley's first goal when the scorer was yards offside and the hosts last goal was decribed as a joke. A massive thank you to Albi who had a very good game and scored Beechy's second goal. The Man of the Match went to the whole team and when those missing players return the Boys will definately start getting those winning results.
**BEECHFIELD UTD U13's TORNADOES v2 v Mossbank Whites 4
The Under 13's Tornadoes had a tough game when they met Mossbank Whites but Beechy were the better team in the first half playing the better football plus creating more chances. Lucio who was pulling the strings in midfield put Beechy ahead scoring with a fantasic lob from outside the area. Mossbank were always dangerous on the break as they caused the Tornadoes problems and the visitors equalised just before half time. The Beechy Boys were asked for the same amount of committment in the second half but the team levels dropped as they gave away the ball far too often when the game became very scrappy. The Tornadoes regained the lead against the run of play following a well executed free kick by Tyler. As the game slipped away from Beechy they got lucky with a few decisions and Mossbank equalised again then shortly after took the lead plus adding their fourth goal in the final few minutes. Stand out players were Lucio for his first half performance, Max who worked tirelessly upfront, keeper Harvey made some fine saves and his kicking was good but Man of the Match went to Kian who battled really well and used the ball well as he drove the team forward.

Difficult First Half Sets the Challenge

There wasn’t much to celebrate on the scoreboard today, but there were still important lessons and positives to take from the game.
The match started in very unfavourable fashion for Beechfield United. Winton repeatedly found ways through our defence and took full advantage of their chances, scoring six goals in the first half and putting the game firmly in their control.
Despite the pressure, the boys kept working, and the reward came through Samuel, who managed to pull one back for Beechfield and get us on the scoresheet. It was a brief lift in a difficult opening half, which ended with Winton holding a commanding lead.
In the second half, even with Beechfield playing with two additional players, Winton continued to press and added two more goals, bringing the final score to 8–1.
The result could have looked very different on another day. Beechfield created around seven clear chances, but the Winton goalkeeper produced a series of excellent saves to deny what looked like certain goals.
The most important positive was the attitude — the boys never gave up, kept battling for every ball, and fought until the final whistle.

The award goes to Freddy, who returned after being absent for some time and delivered a very good performance in defence. Strong, committed, and fearless down his side, he competed for every ball and showed great determination throughout.

This week’s Parent Player award goes to William. He never stopped running, was involved in many key moments, and his ball recoveries helped spark several of Beechfield’s attacking moves. A tireless performance on a challenging day.
**Timperley Bulls FC 3–2 BEECHFIELD UTD U/12's STORM
Beechfield United Storm were left nursing a cruel defeat as Timperley Bulls edged a dramatic five-goal contest that swung repeatedly but was ultimately decided by a contentious late penalty.
Timperley struck first after some real indecisiveness at the back by Beechfield, and the Bulls doubled their advantage soon after with a superbly taken header to make it 2–0. At that point, Beechy needed a response — and they found one.
Gradually gaining a foothold in the game, Beechfield began to ask questions, and just before the break Max produced a moment of quality, clipping a lovely ball over the top for Barkley Pope to run onto. Barkley showed great composure to poke home and reduce the deficit to 2–1 at half time, giving the Storm real belief going into the interval.
The second half brought early drama as Beechfield were reduced to eight men, but rather than retreat into survival mode, they grew into the game and were, remarkably, the better side. Their resilience and bravery were rewarded when a perfectly weighted through ball released Ismail, who took a touch around the defender and smashed home a deserved equaliser.
With momentum firmly behind Beechfield, the match looked there for the taking — but in a game where the referee gave the Storm very little, a highly dubious penalty decision swung things decisively. Timperley made no mistake from the spot to restore their lead at 3–2, and despite Beechfield throwing everything at it, that’s how it ended.
It was a heartbreaking result for the Storm, who left absolutely everything out on the pitch. Pride, rather than disappointment, was the overriding emotion at full time.
Man of the Match went to Joel Momoh, who put in a colossal shift in midfield and led by example throughout. A special mention also goes to Josh Lowry, who played the entire match in goal and delivered a fantastic performance under pressure.
A really tough one to take — but a performance full of character, courage and togetherness which if we keep up will turn into results.
**Beechfield UTD U/12's TORNADOES 0-3 Sale Utd U12 Lions
We took on high flying Sale today in good form having won our last two matches, and were looking to make amends for a double figures defeat v todays opposition earlier in the season.
The late arrival of keeper Ty Dobson saw Grayson Evans cover in goal in the early stages and he made a terrific stop to deny Sale in the opening minutes. Sale were on top and had numerous chances but our defence and keeper Ty after he arrived somehow held firm and we looked a threat going forward on the left in particular with Dawood Fakeeh having an effort hooked clear that looked to be going in. The first half ended goalless, unbelievably the first time this season we had not been behind at the break.
At the start of the 2nd half we had a great chance to take the lead, a Jack Sinclair corner was met by the head of Josh Green but the ball flew agonisingly wide. Midway through the 2nd half with the clock ticking and Sale seemingly getting more frustrated, a speculative hoof forward in the box somehow crept in just underneath our crossbar to give Sale the lead, a complete fluke. Shortly after keeper Ty made a fantastic 1v1 stop to deny Sale but injured his shin in the process and had to be carried off injured and go to hospital, we all prey this is not too serious.
In the last 10 minutes we had to gamble to try and get back in the game. Josh, Grayson and Dawood all had chances but could not hit the target, our shooting boots as a team were off today. Sale scored 2 late goals on the breakaway as we pushed forward and also missed a late penalty. Final score 0-3.
Despite defeat against a good side I was proud of the team today, they didn't give up and the improvement in the team from our 11-0 mauling v Sale last time out is obvious. The crazy celebrations from Sale when they took the lead let us know that they knew they'd had a tough match v Toradoes this morning.
Some notable performances were Dawood, flying in to every tackle and all over the pitch as usual. Ty was also fantastic in goal until his injury, we anxiously await news from the hospital. But player of the match today went to debutant Jack Costello who slotted into our defence with ease, keeping Sale at bay winning many tackles and was cool and composed on the ball. Well done Jack! Unlucky team, we go again next week. ⚽️
**Enzo Da Silva scored Beechy Under 16's TORNADOES consolation goal in their Salford and Districts League Division 1 away game with Swinton Panthers.
