Moorside Rangers Yellow 7 v BEECHFIELD THUNDER 5
Thunder just narrowly missing out on the three points before the Christmas break, a slow start from Thunder but once the boys got into the game they were unlucky not to win on a narrow pitch the boys tried to move the ball about as best as they could even when under pressure from the home side so credit to the whole squad to sticking to passing and moving off the ball. Goalscorers where Aldo Gannon 2 Ronnie Green 2 and Parker Haworth 1.
In a tough competitive league group the boys have come out of this group with there heads held high and given 100% effort every time they have stepped onto to the pitch the whole team came away with the Player of the Match Trophy just rewards for there teamwork throughout the first part of the season, Thunder would also like to wish our supporters and Beechfield Utd a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Beechfield Thunder 4 – 6 Old Trafford Aces
Another entertaining encounter took place against familiar opponents Old Trafford Aces, with Beechfield Thunder producing a spirited and exciting performance from start to finish.
The Thunder boys were raring to go and began the match brightly, putting early pressure on the Aces’ defence. Bobby started in goal, with Angelo and Bodie forming a solid defensive partnership. Finley controlled the midfield, while Billy, Ronnie, and Ralph provided attacking threats up front.
Despite Thunder’s strong start, it was Old Trafford Aces who struck first. That goal sparked an immediate response, with Ronnie finding the net to level the score. Moments later, Elliot added a stunning goal — a real Christmas cracker — catching the Aces’ defence off guard and giving Thunder the momentum.
In the second half, Thunder showed great resilience. Bodie demonstrated real toughness at the back, bravely blocking a barrage of shots, while Bobby was called into action with several superb saves to keep lightning firmly in the contest. Brayden was looking forward and trying to play in Billy and Ronnie and catch out the ace's with another break but eventually the sustained pressure from Old Trafford paid off as they edged into a 3–2 lead.
Ronnie, however, wasn’t finished. Showing great composure, he struck again with a clinical finish to bring Thunder back level. The game then flowed end to end, with both teams creating chances. Old Trafford managed to score two more goals, but Ronnie completed a fantastic hat-trick to pull one back for Thunder.
Old Trafford Aces added a sixth goal just before full time to bring the match to a close, ending a thrilling, end-to-end contest.
It was a tough game against a strong side, but the Thunder lads showed great effort, determination, and teamwork throughout and can be proud of their performance.

Storm rallied back in a strong and dominant performance to close out the year against Deans to send the fans away with Christmas cheer.
Alfie started in net with both Reggie & Josh in defence, Jacob & Nathan with Arman just behind Imad up top.
Chances came almost immediately with Imad causing havoc up top dancing round on the left of the goal hitting shots wide, high and saved from the keeper.
Deans had looked menacing with their two attackers matching up with storms two in Reggie & Josh - as the midfield pushed allowing Deans to be able to get shots off which Alfie covered well who looked assured at the back.
Storm broke the deadlock with Nathan taking a kick in from the right finding Imad who found the space he needed to place his shot past the goal keeper.
Deans applied pressure as a Alfie was called into a fantastic double save firstly with his legs then slapped the rebound away. The pressure did tell as Vincent & Yusha thrown into the mix and a kick in from deans not picked up by storm allowed a free shot on goal which was impossible to save.
The reaction from storm was brilliant as straight from kick off they assumed control - James played to Yusha who took the ball on in defence, fed through Jacob who one touch and through balled James who hit the ball across the goal keeper into the back of the net.
Heading into the second half Storm turned on the style with some magical goals showcasing how good this team can be when they are on it. Arman picked up the ball, dribbled past one and threaded the ball to Imad who finished excellently.
Jose who had struggled in the 1st half to get involved playing further forward had a volley from a corner flash wide, shortly after taking the ball on the left, cutting in and smacking off the crossbar which James touched in from close range for his brace.
James battling to the right of the goal, with Arman picking up and again shifting to the edge of the box where Jacob showed composure of a young Kevin de bruyne, shifted the ball in space placing a beautiful shot into the top corner from distance.
Storm smelling blood Imad took possession in midfield jinked past two players to the centre of the goal and nonchalantly placed the ball past the goalie. Clearly inspired by Jacob’s distance shot Imad shortly after had a go at replicating it hitting from distance to leave the goal keeper helpless as it nailed itself into the top of the net.
Both Alfie and Vincent in net for the second half were the picture of composure; both making solid saves, quick off their lines and distribution in the second half was immaculate.
Jose who had been desperate to get onto the scoresheet was fouled to the left of the box; nobody else was taking this free kick as he steamed the ball low to the near side of the goal keeper. Finally; icing on the cake was imads fifth goal of the game where again an individual goal following a misplaced pass allowed him to take storms final goal of the game.
A dominant performance though with a lot of individual brilliance shown today. However; areas to work on when it comes to getting passes off sooner and finding team mates in better positions where the scoreline could’ve been greater.
*MOTM*
Two in two for *Jacob* whose confidence has been growing and his performances have been going from strength to strength. Didn’t put a foot wrong, with Arman/Nathan in midfield always looking for the pass and took an assist & fabulously taken goals.
*Parents Player*
Return of Storm's scoring talisman in *Imad* who admitted afterwards there was times he could’ve created more for his team mates; however this can’t take away from five goals in a game where he was at his lethal best

Best performance in weeks in this reversed fixture as Tornadoes were super unlucky to not get the win here after carving out 6 very good opportunities, striking the woodwork and limiting the opposition to just 3 chances with two goals coming from strikes that Alan Shearer would have been proud of.
➡️ Positional awareness was exactly as planned and taken on board.
➡️ The work rate was commented on by the opposition as being the best he’d seen.
➡️ The teams ability to play out from the back and find incisive passes in the final third demonstrated the teams attitude towards continuous improvement
Ever so proud of this team.
On to our winter tournament on Tuesday in high spirits to finish the calendar year with huge energy, fearless football and smiles.

Relentless Beechfield Put on a Winter Goal Show
The match kicked off under surprisingly good conditions for a winter morning in Manchester, and from the first whistle it was clear our boys were determined to put on a show. Beechfield came out with energy, confidence, and hunger — perhaps their most motivated performance yet.
The breakthrough arrived early. In the 2nd minute, Alvin delivered a perfect pass to Jude, who calmly pushed the ball into the back of the net. Before the celebration had even settled, the same combination struck again — Alvin to Jude — and suddenly Beechfield were two goals up in a blink.
The opposition responded quickly to make it 2–1, but that goal only served to wake the giant. From that moment on, Beechfield unleashed a true goal festival. Before the clock even reached ten minutes, Samuel added three goals, and Jude completed his hat-trick with another well-taken finish.
After the 10-minute mark, Kevin entered the pitch bringing incredible energy and intensity. His impact was immediate and devastating. With smart movement, sharp finishing, and relentless pressing, Kevin scored five goals before halftime, while the opposition managed to pull one more back.
The first half ended with a commanding 11–2 advantage for Beechfield.
The second half started at a calmer pace, but the goals kept coming. Kevin added three more to his personal tally, Alvin capped off a fantastic performance with a well-earned goal of his own, and Samuel, William, and Jude each added another to their records.
A dominant display from start to finish — full of teamwork, movement, and joy on the ball. A performance that truly reflects the growth and confidence of this Beechfield side.
MOM (Man of the Match):
Jude — Outstanding today and a perfect example of how much he has improved throughout the season. He delivered an excellent performance, scoring four goals and making tireless contributions in both defence and attack.
Parents’ Player:
Alvin — One of his best games so far. He demonstrated real maturity in his play, delivering beautiful passes and consistently posing a threat throughout the entire match.
