POSTED: January 02 2016 13:52:28. By Phil Hesketh - Bad Day at Bad Rock, well Moorside High

Typhoon played a tough Moorside Rangers Green team and produced an excellent performance, arguably their best of the season so far. It was hard working and skilful. Unfortunately it was let down a little by Typhoon's traditional 5 minute sleep when 3 quick goals were conceded. The final score was 5-1, which rather flattered Moorside, Sonny scored another cracker and but for a lack of composure in front of goal it would have been a lot closer. Choosing man of the match was difficult but Freddie pipped it for his outstanding defence and organisation.

After the league game was a penalty shootout, a hangover from the drawn cup game weeks before. Peter magnificently saved most of them but unfortunately suffered a broken wrist in so doing. The rest of the team weren't quite so good at scoring them as Peter was at saving them and we lost 2-1 after 6.
All our best wishes go to our brave keeper, get well soon!

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year
