POSTED: October 31 2017 23:04:25. By Ben Robinson - Hurricanes Heroes Have Happy Hallowe'en!

While most other teams cancelled tonight's training in favour of Trick or Treating, the Hurricanes players and parents turned out in numbers to celebrate Hallowe'en in footballing fashion!

All of the players turned out in scary fancy dress outfits and their training session featured a 5-a-side game of 'Werewolves against Zombies'

However the highlight of the evening was the penalty shootout as each of the players took turns at trying to knock the ghost and pumpkin pinatas off the crossbar! Joshua Whitehead struck a great shot to smash the pumpkin before Jai Devani-White managed to hit the ghost (although it took Adam's silky skills to knock it off completely!)

The biggest efforts of the evening from the players then followed as they frantically gathered as many sweets as they could, and everyone left with Hallowe'en bags that were full to bursting!

After the session manager Ben Robinson said "I hope the players all enjoyed themselves tonight, it was a great laugh, thanks to all the parents. Massive thanks to Sue for the pinatas, and for coming up with the idea in the first place!"

Happy Hallowe'en to everyone!!
