The Hurricanes faced a side from Barr Hill for the third consecutive Saturday but found the Aces to be their toughest opponents yet.
Barr Hill took the lead early on but some flowing football saw the home team pull level through Man of the Match Jai Devani-White. This was his first goal of the season and it followed some good work from Oliver Hall and debutant Sean Cosgrove.
Barr Hill regained the lead shortly afterwards and then struck again to lead 3-1. However the Hurricanes pulled one back with a fabulous solo effort from Oliver Hall, scoring his second goal in as many games.
The Barr Hill lead was then cancelled out with a close-range strike from leading goal-scorer Daniel Robinson just before half time, to ensure that the teams went into the break all square.
The second half was became little bit scrappy as the weather and pitch conditions worsened, but the home team continued to play well and work hard. Unfortunately Barr Hill managed to score three second half goals, as the Beechy players ran out of steam, which produced a final scoreline that very much flattered the away team.
After the game manager Ben Robinson said "I'm extremely proud of every single player today. Don't let the result over-shadow our performance, we were up against big, strong Barr Hill team on a very heavy pitch. There were a few tired legs out there in the second half but you could definitely see the determination in our players, so I couldn't be any prouder."
The Hurricanes squad for the match was: Oliver Dalton-Bunker, Oliver Hall, Joshua Whitehead, Daniel Robinson, Jamie Maher, Jaiesh Devani-White, Matthew Elliott, Alfie Latham, Presley Smith and Sean Cosgrove.
