Due to lack of players from the oppositon we agreed to reduce the match to 6-a side.
So with 4 subs we rotated the team quite often.

The game was a bit slow to start, both teams struggling to take control, but eventually we started to run things. Matthew had worked hard upfront on his own but not many chances came his way. We gave him a rest and brought David on and he nearly scored with his first effort, just flashing one across the goal. Josh was getting forward more than usual and had a couple of good efforts, one of which we thought he'd scored but it hit the side netting.
The breakthrough finally came with a cracking ball from Zane who put David in and this time he put it away.
Maccabi having one great effort from outside the box which looked to be heading over woody and under the bar but he read it well and calmly kept it out.
We continued to press and Kyle who had come on in midfield hit a great shot in to the top corner to make it 2-0 at half time.

Second half we carried on playing some good football going forward and but for an unbelievable decision by the ref David would of been clean through.
Maccabi were better this half and pulled a goal back with a nice finish in the bottom corner.
Beechy still looked more dangerous going forward, and a few chances by our attack were very well saved by a De Gea inspired goalkeeper who was no doubt Maccabis MOTM.
As we continued to make changes the only outfield player who stayed on for the whole match was the irreplaceable Liam. Another superb performance from our captain at the back.
A good win and our 2nd from 3 cup games that should hopefully see us stay in the cup.
We've played better but we created lots again and everyone worked really hard for the team so well done again.
Final score 2-1
