After last weeks performance I thought the team would find this weeks game tougher . Down to a flat seven and no substitutes. Lewis Wallis had to deputise for the in form Ben Davies . Theo Valentine came back into the heart of the defence with a difficult task of matching Jacks superb display from last week. With Harley Kirk along side him they were more than a Match for the Winton attack . When they did break through the brave Lewis Wallis was there to clean up.
The first half was fairly even with Beechy seeing the better chances and playing the better football. A goal from Kayden being matched before half time by Winton.
Winton came out strong in the second half scoring in the opening minute , but from then on Beechy took control and only poor finishing and a brilliant Winton keeper stopped Beechy from scoring frequently. Two goals from well taken corners (well done Charlie) gave Harley Davidson the best goals of the game . One a stunning header the other a flicked volley (similar to the one in training that left TP routed to the spot with his mouth open). The two wingers CHarlie and Adam worked tirelessly throughout the game and Adam got his reward with a goal towards the end. Charlie was a warrior throughout and after taking a ball in the face insisted on staying on the pitch to help his team , a captains performance.
