Just four games were played during the Easter Holiday weekend. Three mini-soccer and one Beechy 9v9 team were in action plus there was an 11-a-side evening fixture on Thursday 29th March.

Its congratulations to Beechfield United Under 8's Lightning who booked their place in the Supplementary Tournament G final following a terrific away victory over Flixton Junior Wildcats. Beechy came from behind to secure their spot in the final after winning a thrilling match by the odd goal in nine. On target with the goals were Charlie Swift, Oscar Mather and the amazing Broadie Mundy who was named Man of the Match following an outstanding hat trick. This is a brilliant achievement by the Beechy lads in only their first season as a team. There is also a special mention for Team Manager Gareth Booth and Assistants Wayne Mather and Daniel Eckersley. Lightning's squad for the match was Brandon Booth, Kaylon Salisbury, Charlie Swift, Kyle Tandy, Eddie McDonagh, Broadie Mundy, Oscar Mather, Caleb Horrocks, Deenraj Singh, Oliver Eckersley.

After finding themselves trailing by two goals at half time in their Supplementary Tournament away tie at Barr Hill Hearts the Under 8's Hurricanes displayed real determination in the second half and scored three goals to win the game and stay top of the group. Goal scorers were Daniel Robinson and Joshua Whitehead and voted Man of the Match was goalkeeper Oliver Dalton-Bunker who made one magnificent save that guaranteed the Hurricanes victory.

Unfortunately the Under 8's Tornadoes lost their Supplementary Tournament D game with De La Salle Devils. Officially this was the Tornadoes home fixture but it was switched to their opponents ground. Stewart Kay who was voted Best Player netted Beechy's only goal.

The Under 11's Storm (9v9) entertained Ladybridge Hurricanes for their latest Supplementary Tournament match and due to a combination of poor defending and wind assisted goals were three goals down at the interval. Producing a comeback after the break Beechy reduced the arrears with a goal apiece from Caden Gibson and Harry Backhouse. But as the Storm went in search of an equaliser Ladybridge scored again from a corner that secured them the win. Josh McLoughlin was Storm's Man of the Match.

For the third successive match the Under 13's Tornadoes played De La Salle Reds but the score line after this Division 2 fixture wasn't a fair reflection on Beechy's overall performance. The Tornadoes suffered a 7-4 defeat but they were terribly unlucky with a few offside decisions and a penalty awarded against them. Goals for Beechy came via leading scorer Alan Kay (2) Andrew Woodward and Lucas Madden who apart from doing a great job in an unfamiliar midfield role got his first goal for the team.
