Many of you know over the past 12 years Bridgford & Sons Funeral Services, including many other companies within the Co-op Funeral Services have sponsored Beechfield United FC for around £25,000. Without their kind sponsorship (which has provided team kits) our club would not be in such good shape. virtually every player during this time has worn a Bridgford sponsored kit. Their sponsorship came about through company Director Mike Bridgford. Mike became involved with the club through his son Colin back in 2002, when Colin was manager of one of the Junior Teams. Unfortunately Mike passed away in 2008, but the kind generosity and support of Bridgfords carries on through their Regional Manager Mark Ashworth and Bridgfords have again donated another £1000 towards kits for this season.

The 2013-2014 Season kicked-off on Saturday 7th September with a total of sixteen Senior and Junior teams in action. The newly established U/ 9's THUNDER played their first official game against a Barr Hill outfit and full credit to all the Beechy players who produced a splendid all-round performance. Goalkeeper Reiss Miller who was Man of the Match made some fantastic saves while Jake O'Sullivan and Samuel Oludayi scored the goals.

At Stott Lane the U/13's TORNADOES met Leigh Genesis who scored a last minute goal to secure a 4-3 victory. Beechy made a poor start and were 2-0 down before Man of the Match Jack Farrell reduced the arrears. Leigh Genesis went 3-1 up but United produced a spirited fightback and following goals from Leyton Taylor and Callum Daley (penalty) a draw looked a certain result. (7/9/2013)

Making their debut in the Timperley and District Junior League were the U/14's HURRICANES who's opening fixture was a home game with Lymm Rovers Pumas. In a hard fought contest the Hurricanes created some great football but eventually suffered a 3-2 defeat. Harry Davis who was making his debut was voted Man of the Match and on target with the goals were Elliott Hogben and Keane Riley-Newman. (8/9/2013)

In the Eccles Sunday League the SENIOR A team had an away game at Roscoe Rovers. Chris Edwards netted a consolation goal for Beechy who went down 3-1. Dave Stanley was Man of the Match and goalkeeper Neil Derbyshire saved a penalty. BEECHFIELD UTD BLUE went goal crazy at home to Fix and Hounds. Sam Houghton and Man of the Match Mason Gilligan both hit hat-tricks plus two goals from Mike Gandy earned United an emphatic 8-1 victory. (8/9/2013)

An exciting 9v9 match between the U/11's TORNADOES and neighbours Moorside Rangers Orange ended with Beechy celebrating a 3-2 win. Producing some powerful attacks in the early stages United took a deserved lead via Man of the Match Robbie Capps. Rangers threatened to equalised on several occasions but thanks to Jerry Le Grande who made some superb saves Beechy held their narrow lead at the break. As the second half developed both teams created some decent chances and eventually Rangers drew level but their joy was short lived when with the help of a deflection Robbie Capps put United 2-1 up. Derryn Harrison netted Beechy's third goal and despite looking well on top the Tornadoes had to endure a nervous last five minutes when Rangers got their second goal. (14/9/2013)

Last weeks moral boosting victory was just a distant memory for United's FIRST TEAM who's poor display in the away game at Holliwood FC ended with a 1-0 defeat. On a 3G Astroturf Pitch United could have gone ahead after just four minutes had Mike Keane made better use of the ball following a great pass by Craig Massey. What proved to be Hollinwood's match winning goal arrived in the 9th minute after United were guilty of some woeful defending. Keeper Jordan Broxson came to United's rescue with three magnificent saves as the home side continued to produce wave after wave of attacks. After soaking up more Hollinwood pressure early in the second half Beechy gradually played with more freedom and both Massey and Anthony Wallis had great chances to equalise. United were forced to do more heavy defending the last ten minutes and Hollinwood could easily have added three more goals. (14/9/2013)

Beechy RESERVES extended their unbeaten run to five games after a 1-1 home draw with Royton Town Reserves. Throughout this FBT Manchester Football League Division 3 contest United played some brilliant soccer against their well organised and physical opponents. Beechy took a deserved in the 29th minute when James Brierley and James Newton linked up superbly and Luke Smith was left with an easy finish. On 40 minutes following a red card incident Royton Town were reduced to ten players but for long periods in the second half put heavy pressure on United. The visitors No7 took advantage of some slack defending and equalised after 68 minutes. Thanks to some excellent counter-attacking in the last quarter-hour Beechy almost snatched a winning goal. Right back Mike Rogerson was voted Man of the Match while substitute Matthew Robertson had a terrific ninety minutes. (14/9/2013)

In the Manchester County FA Youth Cup the U/11's STORM travelled to play Oldham Greenhill and thanks to a superb all-round display secured an emphatic 8-1 victory. Jack Foxley (4) Mason Stephenson, Josh Harrison, Ronald Maketo and Ryan McAleer scored the goals. (15/9/2013)

For the second time in seven days the U/12's STORM were in action against Boothstown Tigers who won the previous match 1-0. But United gained revenge winning 2-1 thanks to an improved performance and goals by Louis Potts and Kayden Craven. The Star Player Award went to Adam Hall. (12/10/2013)

In their away game at Alderley United the U14's HURRICANES all-round strength and ability was the key to their 3-1 victory. Brad Smith opened the scoring then Keane Riley-Newman made it 2-0 before the home side pulled a goal back. A fine individual goal by Mason Gregg guaranteed the three points. Kai Leonard was vote Man of the Match following an excellent midfield display. (13/10/2013)

The U/15's suffered their fifth successive defeat in the North Bury Junior League when they were beaten 3-0 at Stott Lane by Westbury Sports Hurricanes. United's U/16's who entertained Timperley and District Division 2 leaders AFC Monton were gifted the lead in the 3rd minute courtesy of an own goal. Following a goalkeeping error Monton forced an equaliser and the teams shared a 1-1 score line at half time. Beechy made a bad start to the second half and conceded two goals in quick succession and before they had a chance to reorganise went 4-1 down. But the Beechy lads responded superbly and producing an excellent fightback scored twice in two minutes. Blake Pearson created the highlight of the match when he chipped the ball over the keeper from 25 yards then he made it 4-3 after Ben Lockett supplied the perfect through ball. United continued to attack as they searched for an equaliser but it was AFC Monton who scored again to secure a 5-3 victory. Callum Van-Dieman was Man of the Match. (20/10/2013)

The Challenge Cup game between Division 1 team Flixton Falcons and the U/9's THUNDER from Division 4 produced no fewer than seventeen goals. Despite a difficult playing surface both teams managed to play some quality football and on target with goals for Beechy were Jake O'Sullivan and Samuel Oludoyi. (26/10/2013)

Birthday Boy Tom Worthington was one of the goalscorers for the U/7's HURRICANES in their Serie 'A' match against North Walkden Phoenix. Also on target were James Taylor, Georgi Georgiev, Ben Morris, Josh Clough and Sam Henderson as Beechy went goal crazy. The U/8's HURRICANES were in action in a City of Salford Soccer League cup game with Moorside Rangers Yellow. In this eleven goal thriller goals for the HURRICANES were scored by Josh Everall and Sol Momoh and voted Best Player was Sam Walton. Earning generous praise from Team Manager Dave Wood were the U/8's TORNADOES. The Beechy boys best display so far this season came against De La Salle Reds. Goalkeeper Ben Davies was outstanding throughout the match but it was Theo Valentine who collected the Best Player Trophy. Another Beechy team producing a brilliant display were the U/9's TORNADOES. The match at Swinton Junior Panthers was played in atrocious conditions at one stage the players had to leave the pitch due to a hail storm. United played some brilliant football and outclassed their opponents. Ryan Kadir scored his first ever goal for the team and also on target were Harvey Walker and Man of the Match James Quinn. (9/11/2013)

Back in action after a two week lay-off were the U/14's HURRICANES and despite a good all-round performance United lost 6-3 at home to Urmston Meadowside Hares. Two goals from Louis Lawrence gave Beechy an early 2-0 lead but the visitors to Stott Lane went 3-2 up before Mason White made it 3-3 just before half time. On an energy sapping pitch and with no substitutes available United ran out of stamina in the second half and taking control Urmston Meadowside added three more goals. Patrick Dennison was voted the HURRICANES Best Player. (10/11/2013)

Beechy U/11's TORNADOES (9v9) suffered a heavy defeat following their away game at top of the Division 1 table outfit Moorside Rangers Red. In the first twenty minutes United did a great job containing Rangers thanks mainly to goalkeeper Jerry Le Grande. The pattern of the second half was very similar and eventually the TORNADOES went down 9-2 and goals from George Leigh and Jeanny Le Blanc were no more than scant reward. Voted Best Player was Daniel Allerton. (16/11/2013)

In the FBT Manchester Football League the 1ST TEAM produced an amazing comeback in their Division 1 away game with Heywood St James. Guilty of a poor first half performance United were facing a heavy defeat when they found themselves 4-0 down at the break. But displaying a never-say-die attitude the fightback begun when Shaun Plummer reduced the arrears then a superb finish from 25 yards by Tom Carroll added the second goal. Shaun Plummer cut Heywood's lead to just one goal and he wasted the opportunity of a hat trick after winning Beechy a penalty. His spot-kick was saved by the Heywood keeper but Craig Massey reacted the quickest and he netted the rebound for 4-4. Heywood St James could hardly believe what had happened and they were shocked even further after a stunning strike by Man of the Match Steve Erskine put United 5-4 up. At this moment United fully deserved to win the match but Heywood spoiled the party with a last minute equaliser. (16/11/2013)

In action in the Bolton Bury and District Junior League the U/13's TORNADOES were rewarded with their first win of the season. At Stott Lane Josh Reynolds (2) and Callum Daley scored the goals for Beechy who were 3-0 winners over Little Lever Lions. Jack Farrell collected the Star Player Award. The U/9's TORNADOES who have hit top form recently produced another first-class display and dominated the away game at Leigh RMI. On target for the U/9's STORM who played Barr Hill Aces were Adam Rothwell, Charlie Armitage, Alex Vanden and Mason Turner. Following a superb performance Finley Share was an automatic choice for the Man of the Match Award. Local rivals Moorside Rangers Purple were the U/8's HURRICANES opponents in the Serie "A" Division. Producing a high powered display Beechy scored three great goals courtesy of Oliver Lawton and Man of the Match Sol Momoh. (30/11/2013)

Faced with an early Sunday morning kick off were the U/8's THUNDER who were away to Manchester Maccabi Scorpions. Producing a totally dominant display in the La Liga Division United created numerous chances throughout the match. Jorge Weston and Man of the Match Dillon Parker scored the goals. Only ten players were available for the U/14's HURRICANES Division 3 away game at Urmston Meadowside Hares. A hard working performance was unrewarded as Beechy eventually lost the match 4-2. Man of the Match was Saul Slater and goalscorers for the HURRICANES were Patrick Dennison and Louis Lawrence. (1/12/2013)

Three of United's four U/7's Teams played for the first time in three weeks. The U/7's STORM who were away at North Walkden Hawks created another great team performance and scored some superb goals. Jake Allen and Man of the Match George Heywood were on target and their was an excellent goalkeeping display by James Wharton. The U/7's HURRICANES players had a 9am kick off for their home game against Barr Hill Aces. The referee failed to turn up so a players parent was a late replacement. Star Player James Taylor and Georgi Georgiev got the goals. On a muddy pitch Beechy U/7's TORNADOES who met Deans Tigers produced a fantastic performance. In the Premiership Division goals for the TORNADOES were scored by Jamie Withington and Alfie Parrott. (7/12/2013)

For the second time this season the U/13's PREDATORS hit double figures against St Johns Roses who occupy bottom place in the Division 1 table. George Davies (3) Jacob Smith (2) Max Bottomley (2) Josh McVerty (2) and Man of the Match Robert Boardman were on target in a 10-3 victory. Away at Manchester Maccabi Lions the U/9's THUNDER produced a mediocre first half display but Beechy played much better in the second half of this Division 4 mini-soccer game and took the lead. Maccabi's overall performance also improved and they scored twice to claim a narrow win. Samuel Oludoyi was United's goalscorer and Dominic Lawton received the Man of the Match Accolade. (8/12/2013)

Lucas Allen was presented with the U/10's TORNADOES Best Player Award following the Division 3 away game with Ladybridge Lions. There was an amazing fifteen goal thriller between Beechy U/11's STORM (9v9) and Ladybridge Sharks who eventually won this Division 1 match 8-7. Jack Foxley (2) Louis Cabahug (2) Jack Conway (2) Ronald Maketo and Man of the Match Jack Hunter scored the goals. Extending their lead at the top of the Division 1 table to five points were the U/12's STORM (9v9). According to Manager Martin Belcher Beechy played total football throughout the home game with Deans Sports. United won 7-2 and the goals came courtesy of Joe Cox (2) Declan Nolan (2) Marcus Belcher, Josh Strand and Louis Potts who shared the Man of the Match Award with Louis Turner. (14/12/2013)

Earning themselves a pre-Christmas bonus were the U/14's HURRICANES who won 7-1 away at Flixton Juniors. In this Timperley and District Junior League the teams were level 1-1 at half time but in the second period Beechy stepped up a gear and cruised to an emphatic victory. The goals were scored by Bradley Hodges (2) Louis Lawrence (2) Keane Riley-Newman, Mason Gregg and Tom Haslem. There was an excellent midfield display from Patrick Dennison who was voted the teams Star Player. (15/12/2013)

Only a handful of Junior Section teams had fixtures in their respective leagues. The U/13's TORNADOES had a tricky away game at Leigh Genesis and remained bottom of the Section A table. In the Bolton Bury and District Junior League Beechy who lost the match 5-1 netted a consolation goal via Callum Daley. At Beech Farm Playing Fields the U/10's Storm produced a brilliant all-round performance against Parkwyddn JFC. Two goals apiece for Man of the Match Jace O'Connor, Jack Thompson, Billy Wadeson and Rohan Brown earned Beechy an emphatic 8-0 victory. Conditions were less than ideal when the U/9' TORNADOES met Leigh RMI and the match produced no less than eighteen goals. United were without their regular goalkeeper and after an injury forced one of their key players to retire the TORNADOES struggled to get their quick and accurate passing game into gear but they still managed to score some top-quality goals goals. On target were Harvey Walker, Man of the Match Max Pidgey, James Quinn, Joe Mountcastle and Joe Hope. (21/12/2013)

After the usual Christmas/New Year break the SATURDAY MORNING SENIOR TEAM kicked-off 2014 with a MCFA Amateur Cup game against Farnworth Town. At home on their 3G Astroturf Pitch United played for a large percentage of this 3rd Round tie with ten players following a red card incident. Dean Quinn, Phil Heyworth and Gareth Burns in the first half had chances to give Beechy the lead. In a physical encounter the visitors dominated possession in the second half and two goals in the last twelve minutes gave Town a 2-0 victory. United's Man of the Match was Ben Donohue. In the Stax City of Soccer League the U/7's TORNADOES were away to Ladybridge Wolves in the Bundesliga Division. The teams produced an evenly balanced match and Beechy were rewarded with a couple of goals scored by Jamie Withington. Voted Best Player was Reece Dyson. (4/1/2014)

Both Sunday games involving the U/8's THUNDER and U/8's TORNADOES were played on artificial surfaces. Despite being without two key players at South Manchester Lions the U/8's THUNDER were the better team in a contest that included nine goals. Jorge Weston and Man of the Match Joseph Dunne were on target for Beechy. Goalkeeper Carter Singleton produced a top-class display. Manchester Maccabi Warriors were the U/8's TORNADOES opponents and this game ended as a draw. Adam Wood and Jack Fitton were the goalscorers for United who chose Lewis Wallis as their Star Player. (5/1/2014)

In action for the first time in five weeks were United's 1ST TEAM and the lack of match practice contributed to a below-par display against Breightmet United. At home in this Murray Trophy Quarter-Final tie Beechy went out of the competition following a 4-1 defeat. Both Anthony Wallis and Tim Taylor produced some great defending when the visitors put early pressure on United's back four and Breightmet took the a deserved lead in the 21st minute. Beechy struggled to create enough chances as they worked hard to find an equaliser. But ninety seconds after the restart United drew level when Dave Leach easily beat the keeper from the penalty spot. The goal should have encouraged Beechy to step up a gear but they allowed Breightmet the opportunity to quickly regain control and the visitors regained the lead in the 68th minute. United were guilty of some abysmal defending and they gifted Breightmet two more goals in the final 13 minutes. Patrick Beckett was Man of the Match. (11/1/2014)

The majority of games in the Junior Section were postponed due to the recent spell of bad weather but the Under 9's THUNDER'S away fixture at South Manchester Tigers went ahead. Both teams held the lead as the fast action switched from end to end but the small sized pitch restricted United's free flowing football. Jacob Lacey collected the Man of the Match Award and sharing the goals were Jake O'Sullivan, Samuel Oludoyi, Reiss Miller and Louie Percival. (12/1/2014)

In the Bolton Bury & District Junior League the U/13's TORNADOES went down 6-2 to Atherton Town Panthers. On a heavy pitch United kicked-off this Section A fixture playing against a strong wind and found themselves trailing 3-0. Goalkeeper Ben Sykes was constantly involved in the first half as Beechy struggled to adapt to the difficult conditions. United's overall performance improved after the break and two goals from Man of the Match Callum Daley (one a brilliant executed free kick) gave the TORNADOES renewed hope. But some lacklustre defending in the last ten minutes gifted Atherton Town another three goals. (18/1/2014)

Turning their attention to the Timperley and District Junior League's Division 3 Cup were the U/14's HURRICANES who were guilty of a below-par performance. Beechy were just one of two teams in action on Sunday morning and at Stott Lane they lost 3-2 to Wythenshawe Amateurs. Goalscorers were Louis Lawrence and Saul Slater while Bradley Smith was named as the teams Star Player. Playing for the first time in five weeks were the U/7's THUNDER and they produced a first-class display against neighbours Moorside Rangers Yellow. The Rangers keeper made several outstanding saves but Beechy did manage to beat him on one occasion thanks to Oliver Coles who shared the Man of the Match Accolade with Reece James. (19/1/2014)

Message displayed on Salford Community Leisure website stated "All Games To Be Played on Grass Pitches on Saturday/Sunday 25th & 26th January 2014 have been Cancelled Following Several Inspections"

United's U/9's STORM produced a top-class display in their Division 1 away game with Flixton Falcons. Voted Man of the Match was Ellis Craven and three very good goals were scored by Adam Rothwell, Bailey Lloyd and Ben Howard. At Salford Sports Village the 1ST TEAM were given a stern test by a young Chadderton Reserves side and they needed a late goal by Mike Leach to secure a 3-2 victory. Beechy made a brilliant start when they took the lead in the 2nd minute via Craig Massey but United's opponents who occupied bottom place in the Division 1 table forced several fine saves from Jordan Broxson as they searched for an equaliser. Following a torrential downpour the visitors drew level on 50 minutes courtesy of a spectacular goal scored by their No8. United suddenly conceded far too many free kicks and lacked the cutting edge in their all-round game. In the 63rd minute Chadderton went 2-1 up and United knew they would have to step up a gear if they were to earn themselves a moral boosting victory. During a period of counter-attacking Beechy were awarded a penalty for a blatant foul on Tim Taylor and Dave Leach easily made it 2-2 from the penalty spot. The winning goal arrived after a move own the left flank led to a goalmouth scramble and Mike Leach fired the ball into the net from close range. (25/1/2014)

On Sunday morning the U/7's THUNDER switched their Premiership Division home game against Manchester Maccabi Fusion to their opponents ground. On an artificial surface the teams overcame the atrocious weather conditions and produced an entertaining game. Blake Bellehome-Parker scored two goals for United in the first half and he shared the Man of the Match Award with Reece James. (26/1/2014)

Once again the Adverse Weather caused the postponement of a large percentage of games involving Beechfield United's Junior Section teams. Five of the fixtures that did survive took place on Artificial Pitches but the one match that did go ahead on a grass pitch was the U/7's TORNADOES away game at Flixton Cougars. In the Bundesliga Division the game was 4v4 due to Beechy having several players unavailable for various reasons. Man of the Match Leo Morley, Jacob Perry, Daniel Hesketh and Liam Peers were a credit to themselves and the club. Playing at the Soccer Dome were the U/9's TORNADOES and their match with Winton Wanderers produced an astonishing total of twenty one goals. Harvey Walker, Max Pidgey, Ronan Courtney and Man of the Match Joe Hope were on target in a dominant team display. (1/2/2014)

Following a six week lay-off the U/13's PREDATORS were back in action in the Timperley and District Junior League and Beechy faced a tough challenge when they travelled to play Division 1 leaders Sale United Jets. The match finished level at 2-2 but United were expecting to celebrate a victory after taking a 2-0 lead thanks to two goals from Jamie Pollitt. The Best Player Award went To Denford Dzvene. (2/2/2014)

There were more fixture problems after all but three games in the Junior Section fell victim to the weather but there were no problems for the three Senior Teams who were in action on the 3G Astroturf Pitch at Salford Sports Village. The SATURDAY MORNING SENIOR TEAM were still missing several key players for the match with North Manchester. Beechy led 1-0 after 33 minutes via Max Leonard but the visitors found an equaliser before half time. Then North Manchester led 2-1 on 65 minutes forcing United to make a few tactical changes and ten minutes later they were back level. Phil Heyworth was involved providing a great cross that was met by Max Leonard who produced a brilliant finish. The referee made the wrong decision when he awarded North Manchester a debatable penalty and from the resulting spot-kick the visitors No9 earned the visitors a 3-2 victory. Ben Donohue had a great game but the Man of the Match Award went to Wes Pierce. (8/2/2014)

On Sunday in the City of Salford Soccer League the U/8's HURRICANES were in action on an artificial surface when they travelled to play Manchester Maccabi Cubs. This Supplementary Cup tie that included eleven goals turned out to be a real thriller. Man of the Match Josh Everall, Sol Momoh and Oliver Lawton were on target for Beechy. (9/2/2014)

Mainly due to the cold, wet and windy conditions the U/7's THUNDER produced a below-par performance at home to Swinton Tigers. Goals for Beechy were scored by Oliver Coles and Cole Winstanley. The U/9's TORNADOES switched their home game to their opponents ground and the decision proved to be the right one. Against Winton Wanderers a buoyant Beechy outfit played some lovely fast flowing football and netted several excellent goals via Joe Hope, Ronan Courtney, James Quinn, Maxwell Pidgey and Man of the Match Ishoor Bhajwai. Following three blank Saturdays the U/10's TORNADOES looked in good form in their away game at Parkwyddn Phoenix. Max O'Brien and Shaun Heywood got the goals in a 2-1 victory and voted Best Player was Ben Naylor. (15/2/214)

Beechy U/9's THUNDER made a promising start in their Division 3 away game at Ladybridge Pumas. Against their evenly match opponents United took a deserved lead but some slack defending gifted Ladybridge an equaliser. The home side suddenly took control and went in front via a fine strike then Ladybridge added a third goal just before half time. Playing with more self belief in the second period Beechy produced several counter-attack and successfully reduced the arrears. A superb quick passing move opened up the Ladybridge defence and an accurate finish ended the scoring and earned THUNDER a deserved draw. Louie Percival and Samuel Oludoyi got the goals and Liam Cremmins collected the Star Play Award. (22/2/2014)

The U/13's PREDATORS remained in third place in the Division 1 table following a convincing 3-0 away win over Cheshire Phoenix. In the Timperley and District Junior League United led 1-0 at the break and continuing to play some attractive soccer in the second half added two more goals to seal a convincing victory. On target were George Davies (2) and Brandon Kent who was voted the team's Best Player. Four weeks had elapsed since the U/14s HURRICANES previous match and the players were obviously delighted when their away game against Longhey Athletic went ahead. This Division 3 fixture ended level at 2-2 with Man of the Match Saul Slater and Keane Riley-Newman on target for Beechy. (23/2/2014)

Highlight of the weekend was produced by the U/12's THUNDER who celebrated their first win of the season. Bailey Higham (2) Jacob Wilson, Callum Lomax and Man of the Match Denon Dalton scored the goals as United beat Urmston Town Ravens 5-1 in the Supplementary Cup. Adam Wood, Kaiden McClean and Jack Fitton got the goals for the in-form U/8's TORNADOES who were away to Flixton Junior Panthers. Voted Best Player was Oliver Lomas following a brilliant all-round team display. (1/3/2014)

Producing a stunning second half performance were the UNDER/16's who recovered from 2-0 down to beat Unicorn Athletic Cougars 3-2. On a heavy pitch both teams struggled to retain possession but after 12 minutes the home team took the lead though Beechy disputed the goal arguing that the Unicorn player who put the ball into the net was quite visibly in an offside position. Beechy continued to give the ball away far too easily and conceded a second goal though keeper Jordan Jones-Waite made a brave attempt to prevent the goal. Manager Phil Lockett's half time team talk was vital and what he said to his players certainly paid dividends. Playing with more confidence and aggression United took control of the second half and reduced the arrears after an in swinging corner taken by William Holliday was met by Louis Duff who made goalscoring look easy. Creating a constant flow of powerful attacks Beechy eventually found an equaliser when Harrie Fisher's accurate free kick found Louis Duff who produced another accurate close range finish. Keeping the pressure on the Unicorn defence Beechy completed the comeback with about ninety seconds left to play thanks to Harrie Fisher who hit the ball from outside the area and it deflected into the net off a Unicorn player. Man of the Match was Ben Lockett for a great display at left back. (2/3/2014)

Following their third successive home game the 1st TEAM moved up to sixth place in the Division 1 table thanks to a resounding 5-0 victory over AFC Bury. The result was never in doubt because United who produced a brilliant all-round display dominated the match throughout. The goals came via Dave Leach (hat-trick) Tim Taylor and Craig Massey. (8/3/2014)

The RESERVE TEAM received a setback regarding their chances of promotion when they drew their ninth game of the season. Producing a below-par performance Beechy were held 1-1 at home by AFC Monton who took the lead after 20 minutes. A free kick taken by Steven Griffiths was met by Luke Johnston who saw his effort hit the post. In the second half United struggled to breakdown Monton's strong defence until James Newton equalised when he forced the ball into the net following a goalmouth scramble. (8/3/2014)

In the Timperley and District Junior League the UNDER 14's lost 2-1 at home to Sale United.
