On Saturday 18th August 2012 the FIRST TEAM played their opening game in the Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester Football League's Premier Division. Including several young players who were making their debut United made a promising start in their home game against Wythenshawe Amateurs but Beechy were feeling dejected after suffering a 3-0 defeat. A lack of confidence hindered United throughout the contest and they went a goal down in the 24th minute. Chances of an equaliser were on offer but Craig Massey, Jamie Sinnott and Gareth Mooney failed to find a way past the agile Wythenshawe keeper. All three substitutes were used by new manager Lee Wallis in the second half. Matthew Grimshaw, Lee Buckley and Shaun Plummer replaced Steven Griffiths, John Uwimana and Dave Simmons. Aided by a long kick downfield from their keeper Wythenshawe Amateurs went 2-0 up after 48 minutes and the visitors kept the pressure on United's overworked back four when they won a succession of corners. During a period when Beechy enjoyed more of the ball an effort by Mooney hit the crossbar then Grimshaw was inches away with a swerving shot from outside the area. United keeper Andy Coogan made a couple of outstanding saves late in the game but he was unable to prevent Wythenshawe Amateurs scoring their third goal on 82 minutes.

The RESERVES produced a poor first half display in their home game against Pennington Reserves and found themselves trailing 2-0 at the interval. But United's fortunes changed after the break once they got their act together and following a brilliant comeback celebrated a 4-2 victory. Substitute John Uwimana scrambled the ball into the net United's for opening goal on 52 minutes then after wasting a couple of easy chances Shabir Ali collected a superb pass from MAN OF THE MATCH Joe Handley and made it 2-2. Pennington were reduced to ten players following a red card incident and Beechy took full advantage going 3-2 up via Lee Grimshaw who also scored the fourth goal. (1/9/2012)

Four Junior teams were in action during the weekend Saturday/Sunday 8th & 9th September 2012. The UNDER 16's began their season in the North Bury Junior League with an away game at Whitworth Valley. United who lost this Division A match 4-0 named Jack Stapleton as their Best Player. Cade McNamara and M-O-M Charlie Sykes scored the goals for the UNDER 14's who went down 4-2 away to Walshaw Sports. Making an impressive start in the SCOSSL were the UNDER 13's STORM who held a 3-0 lead at half time in their match against Barr Hill Aces. As they continued to dominated the contest Beechy created an abundance of chances and eventually won the game 8-0. The goals were fired in by Nathan Bester (2) Louis Henderson (2) Ridley Cassidy, Alfie Belcher, Taylor Share and Zach Booth. Sharing the M-O-M Award were Louis Henderson and Zach Booth. United's UNDER 16's GIRLS team cruised to any emphatic 7-0 home win over Oxford Grove following their first Bolton Bury and District Junior League fixture of the season. Throughout the match United's all-round team play was a joy to watch but they had to wait until the 29th minute before Rachel Farrand gave them the lead. Seven minutes later Danielle Farrand produced a powerful run and clinical finish for the second goal. Early in the second half a shot by Sarah Bates deflected off a defender and Rachel Farrand picked up the rebound and scored from a tight angle. The Oxford Grove goalkeeper made several outstanding saves but she was powerless to prevent Chloe Phillips (who was making her Beechy debut) from adding the fourth goal. Defender Rebecca Duff ventured up field on a solo run and set-up Shannon Smith who easily netted the fifth goal then Chloe Sheerin made it 6-0 and Sarah Bates completed the scoring after taking advantage of a poor piece of defending by Oxford Grove.

United's newly formed SUNDAY OPEN AGE TEAM began their campaign in the Eccles Sunday League with an away game at AFC Monton. Lyndon Schofield netted a consolation goal for Beechy who lost this Division 4 fixture 4-1. Liam Parker was voted MAN OF THE MATCH. In action in the Timperley and District Junior League were the UNDER 15's who won 8-2 away at Boothstown Juniors. United who led 6-0 at half time scored goals via Callum Van-Dieman (2) Oliver Quinn (2) Jordan Jones-Waite, Kyle Leather, Luke Mather and Harrie Fisher (who was making his debut) The UNDER 13's HURRICANES enjoyed their second win in four days when they beat Deans Tigers 3-1. A hat-trick by Matthew Whiteside was the highlight of the match and sharing the MAN OF THE MATCH AWARD were midfield dynamo Kai Leonard and Mason Gregg who was outstanding in defence. In their away match against Ordsall Juniors the UNDER 13's STORM conceded two penalties but were awarded one which was missed. Taylor Share and Alfie Belcher were on target for Beechy who lost the contest 3-2. Voted BEST PLAYER was Tom Walker. (16/9/2012)

There were goals galore when the UNDER 12's TORNADOES (9v9) played Deans Tigers on Wednesday 19th September 2012. United's all-round performance was ragged at times and they needed three goals in the last five minutes to guarantee a 6-5 victory. Goalscorers were Callum Daley (2) Ellis Burke, Leyton Taylor, Jack Farrell and MAN OF THE MATCH Oliver Ormerod who hit the winning goal twenty seconds before the final whistle. Twenty four hours earlier the UNDER 11's THUNDER (9v9) started their season with a 4-2 home win over Manchester Maccabi Lions. Bailey Higham (hat-trick) and Jordan Lyons got the goals and in the first half keeper and MAN OF THE MATCH Josh Bentley made four terrific saves.

Beechy UNDER 8's STORM were involved in a ten goal thriller with neighbours Moorside Rangers Red. MAN OF THE MATCH Tom Cox, Adam Rothwell, Charlie Armitage and Bailey Lloyd shared the goals. Jake O'Sullivan, James Quinn and M-O-M Dominic Lawton scored goals for the Under 8's TORNADOES who were in action at Boothstown Warriors. Producing an highly impressive display were United's UNDER 10's TORNADOES who led 4-1 at half time in their match with Moorside Rangers Blue. Following more quality football in the second period United won this Stax City of Salford Soccer League match 8-3 courtesy of goals from M-O-M Leighton White (hat-trick) Cameron Wright (2) Tyler Winstanley, Daniel Allerton plus an own goal. Playing their first official league game were the UNDER 10's HURRICANES. Away to Leigh RMI Juniors Nathan Brown (2) and Lewis Vanden were the goalscorers for Beechy who suffered a 6-3 defeat. Matthew Dyer was the teams Star Player. In the North Bury Junior League the UNDER 16's faced a very good Higher Blackley side. There were moments of first-class football by United but unfortunately they went down 4-3 following this Division A fixture. MAN OF THE MATCH of the Match Jack Ryan was United's goal scoring hero with a hat-trick. (22/9/2012)

Only two Junior Section teams played on Saturday 29th September 2012. Jake O'Sullivan was the UNDER 8's TORNADOES goalscorer in their LA LIGA Division away game against Swinton Junior Cobras. Voted BEST PLAYER was Joseph Hope. In their away game at New Alder Park the UNDER 9's STORM faced Division 1 leaders AFC Monton Rascals. After dominating the first half Beechy led 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Riley Phythian and Oliver Cope. But AFC Monton fought back superbly and won the match 4-2. United's MAN OF THE Match was Jack Thompson.

There was a goal feast at Beech Farm Playing Fields when the UNDER 8's STORM played St Andrews Devils. M-O-M Bailey Lloyd and Luke Carr were on target with the goals for Beechy. The UNDER 9's TORNADOS who were playing their first official match of the season found themselves 5-1 down at half time in their home game with Parkwyddn JFC. But it was a different story in the second half as United stepped up a gear and overpowered their opponents thanks to some superb attacking soccer. But sadly they only managed just more one goal and went down 5-2. Goalkeeper Joshua Allen was MAN OF THE MATCH and the goals came via Max O'Brien and Henry Stenton. Goals by Daniel Wright and Ben Sykes-Baines put the UNDER 12's HURRICANES 2-0 up in their match at Boothstown Eagles but the home side recovered and took the points courtesy of a 5-2 victory. United's defensive trio Daniel Flanagan, Nicholas Crawshaw and Cameron Peacock shared the MAN OF THE MATCH. In the North Bury Junior League the UNDER 14's celebrated their first victory of the season. After going a goal down to Bridge FC a well organised Beechy quickly recovered their composure and scored a deserved equaliser. Always the better team in the second period United scored some top-class goals and could have hit double figures but they were denied by the brilliance of the Bridge keeper. United who eventually won 6-3 scored goals via Cade McNamara (hat-trick) M-O-M Henry Misell, Nathan Cox and Dylan Wild. (6/10/2012)

Still seeking their first victory of the season were the SUNDAY OPEN AGE TEAM. United who were at home to Ellesmere Park lost their latest Division 4 match 7-3. MAN OF THE MATCH was Adam Scotti and on target for Beechy were Dan White, Tito Miguel and Kyle Steenson. A poor display by the UNDER 15's was punished by opponents Wythenshawe Amateurs who won this Timperley and District Junior League Division 2 game 4-1. Against the run of play United took the lead thanks to Ryan Bevan but within seconds of the restart Wythenshawe Amateurs equalised and scored again to lead 2-1 at the interval. United failed to show any improvement in the second half and conceded two more goals to a team who hit top form on the day. Blake Pearson was M-O-M (7/10/2012)

United's newly formed UNDER 7's teams kicked-off their season in the Stax City of Salford Soccer League. The UNDER 7's THUNDER who were at home to Bury FC Community produced a sparkling display. MAN OF THE MATCH was goalkeeper Brandon Mayer and Beechy's goalscorers were Harrison Davies, James Edwards. Eric Haynes, Ruben Griffin and Ben Delaney. There was a stunning performance from the UNDER 7's TORNADOES who were in action against Moorside Rangers Purple. Adam Wood, Oliver Lomas and the teams Best Player Jake Wood scored the goals. Making their debut in the Serie "A" Division were Beechy UNDER 7's HURRICANES. Oliver Lawton was on target for United in their away game at Moorside Rangers Yellow. Suffering a heavy defeat were United's UNDER 12's HURRICANES who met Moorside Rangers Blue. Daniel Wright scored a consolation goal and the teams STAR PLAYER was Ellis Carr. At the fourth attempt the UNDER 16's celebrated their first win of the season in the NBJFL. At home to Mighty Dragons goals by Jack Ryan and Lewis Brown secured United a 2-1 victory. Receiving the MAN OF THE MATCH TROPHY was Jack Maw. Tasting victory following their friendly match with Moorside Rangers Red were the UNDER 12's TORNADOES. Thanks to goals from Josh Reynolds (2) and Tom Hall Beechy won this 9v9 contest 3-2. Nathan Brown and Ben Ormerod were on target for the UNDER 10's HURRICANES who lost their away game at Leigh RMI Juniors 8-2. Ben McAtee was voted MAN OF THE MATCH. (13/10/2012)

In the Sunday morning home game against Manchester Maccabi Storm Jake Sullivan was the UNDER 8's TORNADOES lone goalscorer and Jacob Lacey collected the BEST PLAYER AWARD. The UNDER 13's STORM were involved in a top of the table clash with local rivals Moorside Rangers Red. In this Stax City of Salford Soccer League home game United went a goal down but fought back to lead 3-1 thanks to goals by Sam Obiji (2) and Taylor Share. Moorside Rangers made it 3-2 before half-time and in a match that lacked real quality scored again about ten minutes from the end forcing Beechy to settle for a 3-3 draw. Adam Kinsey was United's MAN OF THE MATCH. At Stott Lane the UNDER 13's Hurricanes met Boothstown Dynamos and the contest turned out to be a real thriller. But despite a first-class performance the Beechy lads suffered a 4-3 defeat. On target were Jacob Smith (2) and Mason White while the teams BEST PLAYER AWARD went to Keane Riley-Newman. Beech Farm was the venue for the UNDER 15's Timperley and District Junior League fixture with Sale Communities and both teams played their part in a fantastic game of football. In the first-half United's keeper Michael McKiernan made several outstanding saves but was unable to prevent the visitors from taking a 1-0 lead at the interval. In an absorbing second half Beechy were the better team and equalised via Eyodel Solomon following a free kick taken by Ben Lockett. As they attacked non-stop United took a deserved 2-1 lead when William Holliday beat the keeper from just inside the area. Five minutes before the final whistle Sale Communities won a penalty for handball and the spot-kick was converted and though Beechy had chances to score a winning goal this Division 2 match finished level at 2-2 (14/10/2012)

Looking for a moral boosting victory United's FIRST TEAM met Wythenshawe Town at Salford Sports Village but following a lacklustre performance Beechy suffered a 5-0 defeat. United were forced to make a few team changes and they made a poor start to the match going a goal down in less than five minutes and things went from bad to worse when the visitors took a 2-0 lead in the 13th minute. United struggled to match their opponents work rate and commitment but they did create a few decent chances and Craig Massey, Gareth Mooney and Anthony Wallis were only inches away from reducing the arrears. Wythenshawe Town added their third goal on 38 minutes and if they were looking to stage a comeback Beechy would need a much improved display in the second half. United began the second period showing a greater desire and won four successive corners and on one occasion a powerful header by Tim Taylor forced an excellent save from the Wythenshawe keeper. The match drifted further away from Beechy when they conceded a fourth goal after 55 minutes. Both John Uwimana and Gareth Mooney saw efforts hit the crossbar during another brief spell of bright and inventive attacking play but Wythenshawe Town always looked likely to score again and their No 7 made it 5-0 in the 73rd minute. MAN OF THE MATCH was Connor Beard. (20/10/2012)

Jake Allen was the UNDER 7's TORNADOES goalscorer in the away game at De La Salle. Playing their third successive away fixture were Beechy UNDER 8's STORM. Against St Andrews Devils Patrick Walsh made his debut while Mason Turner netted United only goal and Charlie Armitage was voted MAN OF THE MATCH. Following the away fixture with Barr Hill Diamonds the Under 8's Tornadoes chose James Quinn as their BEST PLAYER. Involved in a Challenge Cup Round 1 game in the SCOSSL were United's UNDER 9's STORM who went out of the competition following a 6-2 defeat at North Walkden Blues. BEST PLAYER was Oliver Cope and the goals came via Billy Wadeson and Jordan Booth. At home to Flixton Junior Bulldogs the UNDER 10's STORM produced a brilliant performance and goals by Josh Harrison (2) and Alfie Marks secured Beechy a 3-0 win. (27/10/2012)

At Littleton Road the UNDER 11's STORM (9v9) had to work overtime before they secured a 4-3 victory over Urmston Town Eagles. In an exciting first half which ended 3-3 United scored three equalising goals thanks to Joe Cox (2) and Louis Potts. It was MAN OF THE MATCH Kaydn Craven who hit the match winning goal. Another team celebrating a 4-3 win were the UNDER 12's TORNADOES who fought back from 2-0 down against Deans Tigers. Beechy fully deserved the victory and the three points which kept them in second place in the SCOSSL's Division 2 table. Ellis Burke, Leyton Taylor, Tom Hall and Jack Farrell (penalty) got the goals. United's UNDER 10's HURRICANES were involved in a thrilling game away at Deans Tigers. The match produced nine goals and Beechy didn't deserved to suffer a 5-4 defeat. Chosen as MAN OF THE MATCH was Kaden McCarthy while the goals were netted by Lewis Vanden (2) and Ben Ormerod (2) There were no fewer than twelve goals in the match between the UNDER 7's Tornadoes and South Manchester Sports. Goalscorers for Beechy were Ruben Griffin, Ben Delaney, Harrison Davies and James Edwards and voted BEST PLAYER was Eric Haines. (4rd and 5th November 2012)

Suffering their first defeat of the season were Beechy UNDER 10's TORNADOES. A shell shocked United who were beaten 6-1 by Barr Hill Diamonds found themselves 5-0 down after just fifteen minutes. A stunning free kick by Leighton White and a superb MAN OF THE MATCH performance from Cameron Wright were the main highlights in a match best forgotten. Goals by Joe Cox, Kaydn Craven, Connell Griffin and Louis Potts secured the UNDER 11's Storm (9v9) a convincing 5-0 win over Barr Hill Aces. MAN OF THE MATCH was Marcus Belcher and the three points were enough to see Beechy taken over as Division 1 leaders. There was an amazing game involving Beechy UNDER 12's Hurricanes (9v9) and Stax City of Salford Soccer League Division 2 leaders Parkwyddn Juniors who won this fifteen goal thriller 9-6. On target for United were Ellis Carr (3) Rakeem Williams (2) and Louis Kennedy. Goalkeeper Lewis Jones collected the BEST PLAYER trophy. In action at Littleton Road were the UNDER 14's who drew 3-3 with Oldham Rangers Red. In this North Bury Junior League fixture United took the lead via Kade McNamara but Oldham Rangers fought back and led 2-1 at half time. Kade McNamara equalised and Charlie Sykes put Beechy 3-2 up and in a frantic finish to the contest Oldham Rangers snatched a dramatic equaliser with virtually the last kick of the match. In the Timperley and District Junior League the UNDER 15's were involved in a seven goal thriller with Parkwyddn Juniors. Goals from Harrie Fisher and Oliver Quinn gave United a 2-0 lead and Beechy were on top until Parkwyddn produced a sterling fight back and held a 3-2 lead at the break. In the second half the fast action moved rapidly from to end to end and with his second gal Harrie Fisher made it 3-3. Following a miss from the penalty spot United struggled to create chances and Parwyddn scored what proved to be the winning goal in the closing minutes. Beechy's MAN OF THE MATCH was Ben Lockett. (11th and 12th November 2012)

For the second time in seven days the UNDER 10's STORM played Barr Hill Aces. Goals from Ramel Di Silva (2) Jack Foxley and MAN OF THE MATCH Alfie Marks guaranteed Beechy a 4-1 home victory and a quick winning double. Playing only their fourth (9v9) game of the season were the UNDER 11's THUNDER. United beat Deans Tigers 5-1 thanks to goals by Denon Dalton (2) Bailey Higham (2) and Callum Lomax and voted STAR PLAYER was Jaiden Akers. Away to unbeaten Division 1 leaders Tydesley Juniors the UNDER 13's STORM were on the wrong end of a 7-4 score line. Following an evenly balanced first half the teams were level at 4-4 with goals for United coming from Joe Cox (2) Nathan Bester and Zach Booth but Tyldesley Juniors took their chances in the second period and maintained their winning sequence. (18th and 19th November 2012)

Once again the bad Weather caused the postponement of seventeen fixtures in the Junior and Senior Section and only two games were played on Saturday morning. Local rivals Moorside Rangers Blue were the UNDER 7's TORNADOES opponents in the Bundesliga Division. The Beechy players produced a superb disciplined display and receiving the Best Player Trophy was defender Liam Peers. Man of the Match Ellis Craven, Adam Rothwell, Bailey Lloyd and Ben Howard got the goals for the U/9's STORM who were away to Flixton Falcons. (25/1/2013)

The UNDER 7's THUNDER switched their Premiership Division home game with Manchester Maccabi Fusion. On an Artificial Surface the teams overcame some atrocious weather but despite not playing to their full potential United still scored a couple quality goals. Blake Bellhome-Parker who was on target twice in the first half shared the Best Player Award with Reece James. (26/1/2013)
